no reason to make something different than this electronic part twitt because we can fit it easily in a fatter tube and put this tube on GGTS.:)
Any chance you make a 23mm model while your at it? :D

I dont if this was said before but the electronic part of the Proteus reminds me alot of the Zorbas http://elcigart.com/en/all-products/4
They are both made in Greece, both use the same single LED instead of a screen, both use a mechanical button, they have the same purpose and the same idea in their design.
Are the guys at ELCIGART the ones designing the electronics ?

Proteus has its own button, its electronic part is not an add on and it uses led because its thin so its dificult to put screen on it. As for the purpose, all electronic mods have the same purpose. Also I dont see any similarity on idea steel. Proteus is more like provari than like zorbas:)

The similarity in idea would be that they are both a screw on tube that regulates current, the Proteus electronics I assume are designed for that single mod so it would make sense to have its own button, where as the Zorbas is made to fit all mods so it uses the mods button, but both buttons are mechanical.
I dont like the form factor of the Zorbas but clearly the electronics are superior of that of the Provari.
Is the Proteus capable of variable wattage or only variable voltage like the Provari ?

Here is a picture of both of them together maybe the similarity will be more obvious.

This is just my opinion so take it as you will but other then the fact that they both provide reculation they are not really all that similar. For starters Proteus's electronics are made specifically for proteus with the ability to adapt for GGTS and likely Just GG. Zorbas was made to work with any 510 device. Because of this IMHO the Zorbas will work ok with a stealth capped GGTS or a GGTS with an adapter but IMHO it doesn't match the diameter of the mod so it looks like an addon. Since proteus isn't even released yet this is just a guess but I imagine it will match the lines and diameter perfectly. And since Imeo is a perfectionist even when adapted for GGTS I am guessing it will look like it was made for it as well. Again just speculation.

IMHO Zorbas isn't a bad device. But honestly it is not for me. If they made it a drop in so it fit inside a GGTS I might be more interisted even if I think it is extremely over priced. The way I like to use my GGTS with the collector tank Zorbas would look crazy.

Although I do agree with you that the Zorbas doesnt look good on .... frankly anything, and that is why I never bought it, I dont understand your defencive stance and need to dismiss the similarities especially since your only arguement seems to be Zorbas doesnt look good.
Personally I would be extreamly happy to know that Zorbas electronics were in the Proteus as that would mean 6 - 18 Watts and it could handle a 1 Ohm atty, in a presentable quality built.

P.S If you want a drop in module get a KICK.

proteus is more like provari steel. Zorbas is a closed tube that screws on the connector of the mod. Proteus electronics touch the battery almost like provari. As for the electronics of zorbas, I have to tell you that they are inferior than provari

Proteus is capable of both options steel

ps....... I just saw your pictures. Zorbas is an add on that works on every 510 device, when proteus tube is in touch with battery always, not via a pin steel:)
