Just thought I would send this out. Paypal called us , persons name was Bake from the Risk Department. Blake stated that Paypal will no longer support Ecig companies with processing orders, under the guidelines from the FDA restrictions. When I ask under what regulations the FDA has to ban or make this product Illegal, Blake could not respond. Paypal also seems to only be searching for e-liquid. and searching for liquid that contains DEG and that other Carcino chemical. Neither of which are in my liquids. Blake then stated " Oh well then i will just move your issue to the next department. " Just a heads up it seems they are searching for e-liquid suppliers and those chemicals in specific.

Update: Then next department they send this information to is called AUP. no contact number for them and you do not get notified if they close your account, Blake stated it is best to open another Paypal account once u have removed e-liquid form your site or start another company.

I phoned my account manager up at paypal yesterday. He knew nothing about E.Cigs or E.Cig fluid sellers being banned from collecting funds via paypal.

He did say that it might be another infringement by JC.

Paypals AUP or Acceptable Use Policy does not class Electronic Cigarettes as a product that would be disallowed from using paypal as a merchant provider to collect online funds for their sale.

None of this is making sense again...sigh. I don't think all these suppliers are having problems with their accounts being bad for any given reason, maybe, but it's hard to believe. Yet we've got other suppliers that haven't a clue what's going on and they are selling just fine.

I just placed an order for nothing but liquid with the company I buy from here in the states and it was for 360 ml of liquid and it went through paypal just fine.

I wonder if paypal is pulling the plug one supplier at a time or if all these suppliers are having money problems (which I find hard to believe) or what.

I guess time will tell.

I have had a perfect Verified account with paypal since 2005, not a single dispute or issue, When i spoke with Blake in Risk Management for Paypal he said " We are starting to notify customers who sell ecigs, that we are no longer going to allow transactions to be processed, and I am calling you to inform you of this.

There is no way for paypal to do a MASS shutdown of all the suppliers in paypal they have to search each one. or google them and cross reference with there account. it will be one by one, not a mass. i suggest those suppliers with paypal account get your money out!. i was lucky enough to place and order and get all my shipments out before they call today

Thank you so much for alerting us to what looks like is happening now as we read and write. If the scenario is as you state, then it makes sense. If they are slowly pulling the plug than it stands to reason that many suppliers (who haven't been contacted by Paypal yet) have no clue of what's going on.

I've been getting up my stash and I'm so grateful I have. I'm so sorry this is happening. I don't quite understand how or why Paypal is doing this unless they know something we don't. If they (paypal) have been alerted that electronic cigarette supplies (whether just liquid or the apparatuses) are going to be banned than it would make sense that they (Paypal) have taken the initiative to begin banning suppliers of e-cigs and e-cig supplies.

Pretty lame. But just for the record, this made me abandon my PayPal account. So screw them. They're no longer gonna get interest of the 3-5 day limbo from me.

I'll show them! They're gonna miss my $3.67.

But if you multiply that by 10,000 or possibly even more then it adds up! ;)

If anyone knows a CC Merchant that can beat 2.09%+.25 per Trans., and monthly statement for 17.95$ let me know! Otherwise i have a great CC merchant other suppliers might be interested in using/ I explained to them what i sell and what Paypal did to me.. they didn't have any issue.

Pray tell, what MSP might that be? Just curious.
