Hmmm I'm doing something wrong then.. I use the big one bit to get it to fire.. I push the fire button and it pushes off the bottom cap and it misfires.. What am I Doing wrong?

I tried going without the rings too but it won't fire at all that way and the battery wobbles like crazy

I can't think of any reason why it would only fire with the o-ring in place. That doesn't make sense. Pushing the bottom open would indicate too much pressure on the button. One need only press hard enough for the button to make contact . . . to touch the battery. A little harder is fine. Hard enough to press the bottom cap away from its contact point is way harder than necessary.

Well just when I thought I couldn't be any more jealous.....

Oh - she has a supply of that Xobe juice - i bought it for her cos her fav has always been RY4. When she found out he was going back to the sandbox she decided to use it very sparingly! So it's rare for her to fill a bottle like that - usually she drips it.
I lied a bit - she likes regular coils at say 1.5Ω, whereas i am the cloudhound.

It's a refreshing change for me to NOT have to mod a device for it to do what i want.

btw: Trunks. Yeah, that extra little strip IS for you to blow yourself up with. I thought you might want that.

And, divemedic, and your extra spring. That is something you and I discussed in PMs. It's a button spring of a different composition. You were curious to try it. I sent it on the side (with standard spring in the mod), because I found it to be no better for conductivity, and harder on the button press.

took me an hour getting her to fire. switching different batteries. finally realized i moved the metal tab thingie while fatfingering the bottle on

aw, geez, D. I'm sorry. I didn't think the top cap would even go on with the BeCu leaf out of position. I hadn't mentioned that that needs to be aligned because of my assumption.
