Ok so next question. Can you describe tight vs not tight.?
What would be nice is say i take an 8 second draw but wanted to cut that down to 4 seconds but have the same throat hit and vapor volume? Is that accomplished by the hole size in the cap?

Tight to me = trying to drink a Wendy's frosty thru a straw.

But I will say that when I first tried a 1/16" airhole I hated it. It took me like a day to get used to a looser draw. After that I could never go back. I subsequently drill all my RBAs to 1/16 and sometimes botch them so their even a little larger.

I don't know what effect it has on V or TH I just do it for the draw :)

Yes you can increase vapor and throat hit by increasing air flow and lowering the ohm of the coil. If you just open the air hole you get cooler vape. My .5 ohm dual coil in cyclone with AFC cap wide open will curl the toes of a cig smoker used to lights. Note as you go bigger with the air hole at some point you'll need to switch over to lung hits instead of mouth hits. try 1/16 before going bigger, 5/64 was were I had to switch to lung hits.

I got a couple cheapie 18650 flashlights from fast tech to replace my older flashlights, and they are a great replacement. While I like them and love the idea of using 18650 batts....I have no need for a sos or strobe mode on my flashlight. My trouble is finding one that has only low, med, and high settings. I get annoyed having to cycle through 2 modes i will never use.....Guess I'll save up for a higher end flashlight in the future that fits my needs....but my need for an oliver dibi trumps my need for a high end flashlight:D

Don't know what the lumens are though - it doesn't seem to list em?

i run a 5/64" air hole on my RM2 and find i can choose which way to vape - but then i have a big mouth anyway! I have noticed the top of my Dibi is always warm, but that's because it has been impossible for anyone to convince me to put it down.
It travels in a little phone case on my belt at work and since someone is going to ask - no - i've had no problems with it inadvertently firing despite no button lock.

Trying to find the one I have... Kinda looks like the CUBE mod. I like it and it wasn't too expensive. I'll get the model number when I get home.
While I was looking, I came across these...
CREE XM L T6 LED 2000LM Zoomable 18650 Mini Flashlight Torch Zoom Lamp Light | eBay
2100LUMEN CREE XML T6 LED Zoomable Zoom Torch Flashlight 18650 26650 7 Modes R2 | eBay

... Now that you got me thinking about it, I may need to grab another.
Found it...
Small Sun ZY-A33 1 Mode 200 Lumen White Light LED Flashlight with Wrist Strap (Black) | LF712B
It's nice because I don't have to worry about it rolling off of anything...

Agreed, but to increase volume you need more air, which by itself will be cooler and lower throat hit. So to compensate for that you need to lower the ohms of the coil.

yep, I don't know why so few people have figured it out . . . . . → .4-.5Ω, ~1/16" air . . . . good to go.

I already do lung hits not just mouth. Thats how I did cigs so naturally did that with vaping.
I am fine with the volume and th I currently have it just takes very long draws to get there. So I guess what j mean is can I maintain everything but shorten the amount of seconds the draw lasts by opening the hole?
If I drill one out what is the best way to not chip any of the plating on the cap.? I have 2 rm2s but only one cyclone so it would be better and cheaper if I screw up to try a rm2 first to see if this works.

My Small Sun flashlight has 3 settings... "On", "Off" & "Epilepsy Strobe"... I guess it's there just in case I'm ever in the mood for a migraine.

Give us time.
I am only 5 months into vaping and I already only use reos and an oliveR with rm2 and cyclones. I am getting there quicker than most. ;)

Yes yes, but there's a balance to be struck too unless you like swapping batteries! my 0.6Ω coil means i can get an entire day from one battery on a Dibi, and this one is about shot now, but i installed it this morning at 7am when i left for work.

At this rate i'll be reducing my nicotine next week...

Yeah, like everybody else said then. More air, lower res.

the RM2 is pretty dang easy to drill out. It's very soft. You could pro'ly do it with just fingers and a drill bit. Or just ream it with something.

After you drill, use a substantially larger drill bit (like 1/8), and give it 3-4 spins with your fingers. It removes any burrs and cleans it up nice. On the inside is a PITA. I wouldn't even mess with it unless it whistles.

I was going to ask about spare parts just to irritate you Dibby, since it occurs to me that if my spring becomes old and feeble, then my mod will fire on its own.

Gaskets and so on, i don't care about - i make those all day, but do you have a spares kit, or plans to provide one for the terminally idle like me?
