There's those silly dibbi dancing cats again....

Sure glad I have my 007 for subΩ builds. Finally finished up my first Mundy's Magic coil:

Drilled out the posts to 1/16th on a cyclone. 3/4 wrap on a 1/16 bitWith the AFC cap it vapes like a dual coil rig even with the single coil. With the standard cap, holes drilled out to 3/32 the flavor is off the charts. I think I just found my new favorite setup.

.. yeah, and a broken watch also tells the right time twice a day. Most people simply don't understand the masterful craftsmanship that goes into these mechanical works of art. Basically the same reason why we're all in line for a Dibi bec. for me, i'd pay premium for a hand made work of art.

..Please, pretty please, let's not criticize each other's "hobby"

Here's an article I copied from my "jewelry forum"

I have to admit something: I think all you watch people are crazy. I own a Timex that my dad paid $69 for at Wal-Mart and it keeps time just as well as any of these $5,000 watches people go crazy for, and even looks better than most. To me, a watch is a watch. What makes these expensive timepieces worth the money when they don’t do anything my Timex can’t do?
**********

It is true that your Timex tells you the time as accurately as someone’s Rolex or Breitling, but a watch isn’t about telling the time, it is about your relationship with time. A watch is about style, a story and the history of both your watch and your own life. On a more practical level, there are countless hours of research and development put into high-grade watch movements, employing the finest mechanical engineers in the world to compile hundreds of tiny parts into a durable and accurate machine, all in the size of something slightly larger than a quarter. High-grade watches are about craftsmanship and style, not just about telling time. If life was as simple as you make it seem, none of us would own anything of quality because, after all, a shirt is a shirt as long as you’re not naked; a bus can get you someplace as fast as a car; and a cardboard box can keep the rain off your head as well as a home.

That's why I like my Skagen with it's 5mm thickness, Style, low profile and it keeps good time under $70 and comes with a titanium band... lol, Said no Timex ever...

I've got a lot (~25) of DIY flavorings, so I just add a few drops of whatever I'm feeling for the day right in the 6ml bottle of unflavored 50/50 before I leave for work. If I didnt have all the flavorings I'd probably just stick with 26awg Nichrome. That said MM is not for cloud chasers, but it does have a very nice effect on the texture of the vape.

Holy crap Batman! Good thing my wife doesn't look over my shoulder (much) She moves my stuff around on me so often I have to ask her where anything is... AND, it matters not where I put it... she finds it and moves it... lucky, lucky me... lol.

I didn't take it as insult... I don't get it either. If my flashlight helps me to see in the dark and is small enough to fit in my pocket (waterproof is nice too), it's everything I need it to be.

Same thing for watches... A $30K watch doesn't tell time any better than a $30 watch... That doesn't keep people who can afford it from buying it. I don't get. Even if I had the $$$ I wouldn't do it. But... I suppose, to someone who truly appreciates the difference, it's worth it.

What kind of snake?

Ball python. I have a few I've produced that are selling for that much right now - blade clown is the mutation. I have another "one of a kind" - as in first produced color/pattern combination produced that's valuated over $10K. Since he was produced, two more have been produced, on breeding loan with two very close friends.

I hope it didn't come across as me criticizing. I genuinely was interested in the lure of flashlight collecting. Flashlights for ME are purely functional. So I was interested in what about them made them collectible for those who were into that hobby. I don't have the knowledge in the hobby to appreciate what others enjoy about them. Certainly didn't mean to open a can of worms. :)

That's awesome. When I was younger, our house was like a reptile farm. We had a few ball pythons in the mix. Still remember we had one get out in my brothers room down stairs. He was gone for 3 or 4 days... We figured that he's escaped to the ventilation and died... Turns out, he'd managed to get into the downstairs toilet, made his way through the plumbing, and resurfaced in an upstairs toilet... While my step mom was using the can...
Yes... It was as hilarious as it sounds... Pretty sure the people down the street heard the scream...

High-end mechanical watches are about the engineering that is inside. Any cell phone can sync with one of the atomic clocks and be perfectly accurate. But it's about all the engineering and all the parts that are powered by just a spring, no electronics no batteries. This is accurate to within a second or two over an entire month.

Question for those of you that have a cyclone and modified it for better drainage.....how in the world to you get the center post out? I tried to unscrew from the bottom at the 510 connection and that sucker wont budge. My plan was to slot it with a dremel, I think that would be easier than trying to drill it.
