Oh dear.

I only came in here to wave at Akdare and to tell M of N that there really are Boops in attendance on this thread.

Having now missed precisely 41 pages, would someone please catch me up on all the hilarity? How many MamaTried avis have come and gone?

Is Senior Dibi still doing his arrow posting?

If this particular page is an example of what I've missed..... welp, I shall Shirley need to Google an Evelyn Wood course, ASAP. ;)

on another tangent, my dibi occasionally refuses to fire.

took me a few days to figger it out.

it refuses to fire whenever i have under-squonked and the coil is dry. my cotton wick may last forever.

no freakin clue how the bee built that feature in, but there it is...

I have found mine likes my thumb to be centered on the button....

Hey, it's a Holiday! Good day to disassemble your buttons and see just what the heck is going on in there. Knowledge is power, y'know (as in current). While you're in there. . . . . . might want to consider shortening the throw on your button press. Got those nylon washers in your goodie-bag . . . . . . . ..

There's a few pics and a little info in the Library. (oh, and i'm here too)

Don't break it!

I shortened the throw second day I had it with the thickest nylon washer :)
I think I inadvertently scored the screw when I first disassembled, making the contact point smaller. Took a nail file to it to smooth it out and is a lot better now. Mine is set up perfectly for aw 1600... So I'm gonna stop using my efest 2000 in here and relegate them to my Grands
