weeeeelll, now then, batteries!

I bought a Turnigy tester for the little nuisances, since i have tons of them, in all ages and conditions - the ones that are old are not necessarily bad and the ones i use have to be good! HRH can use decent ones.

It will not work out of the box - it's for RC enthusiasts (which i know nothing about, but i got a guy that did to help me!) but it will measure the internal resistance, and that is important for 2 reasons: 1 - it increases as your batteries endure charge cycles until they die; basically they don't hold a charge anymore under load.
2 - it relates to the useable power you can expect from any battery and allows you (well, me really!) to compare claims of manufacturers to real life.

I roll with SX30s, but will be interested in Mundy's report on the LGs.

You know what the problem is going to be for those of us with positions in future runs? Choosing a wood! There are several in the batch of pictures that have been posted in the last few days that I absolutely love. But if you put them side-by-side and told me, "Pick one one of these, you can have it right now," I would have really difficult time deciding which one of them to take.

Don't forget, y'all . . .. seconds require listage too (unless someday I dump the list and just make mods for my peeps . . . you peeps). Don't hesitate to ask for a ticket for #2. If you change your mind later, do let me know (so I can keep track of that stuff). Besides that, no problem with marking another spot.


Shipping for Run#2:


tomorrow (Sat.) is a stupid day for me. I've got some obligations that are firm. I'm gonna try and get as many mods to the P.O. as I can; but I know I won't be able to get them all invoiced, packed, labeled and shipped in the short time I have. Please to forgive, and know that some mods won't be going out til Monday.

Actually, if I recall correctly, you bought two chunks of wood, and talked about how you were gonna use this for your first and that for your second, and, at some point, I PMed you and asked if perchance you thought it might be wise to be listed for a second mod.
