Yea, I got a Cyclone and an RM2 just for the OliveR, but I've been using both of them already - on tube mods at that! But they're all broken in and ready for bottom feeding.

I've only gone down to 0.6Ω so far, but I think I'll try a 0.5Ω or less today. Just toooooo much manual dripping with my setup, so I am REALLY looking forward to my DIBI mod. Besides, I like wood.

Uh... so did the person who sold the wood super saturate the pix... or did pdib underexpose the pix... or did the color fade that much as it got cut away (all color on surface)? It's UNBELIEVABLY beautiful as a mod... but it doesn't have anywhere near that vivid of a red...

Yeah, it didn't look like the pic when I received it; but c-c knew that cause he had it for a while before sending it on to me.

I too have been thinking of getting a Chalice. But here's the thing, I'm all about the flavor and the regular Cyclone and the IGO-S are producing fantastic flavor for me (and the Kayfun) and I think it is because of the small chamber size.

The Cyclone AFC with it's larger chamber is not making me happy flavor wise. So much so that I'm going to try to find someone with a regular Cyclone top cap that wants an AFC top cap for trade.

So, not knowing the chamber volume of the Chalice; I worry that it will not produce the flavor that the others do.

I have the same concerns. Other issue I see is the ability to position coil in relation to air hole. On the Chalice it looks like you get one spot, inbetween the posts. On my cyclone I put it wherever I want. Oh and then there's that big ol price tag of the Chalice hahaha

So if I'm reading the curves correctly, at 5 amps the LG should last about twice as long as an AW 1600 before dropping below 3.7 volts. I'm very interested in hearing the first hand reports.

If that graph is accurate (take manufacturers chart for what it's worth, maybe toilet paper maybe not) then yes. That is why I ordered one. Never could find a graph for the SX30's I have, but dropping one coil turn I get almost twice what my AW 1600's give. Think I might try to make a rig that puts a short load then longer rest period, repeat automatically to simulate typical vaping to test batteries. I have all the stuff needed and could even throw some randomness into it, but we are a$$hoes and elbows into work once again.

Oh... that mod is a work of art, even if you had bleached it, it would still turn out prettier than you got it:).

I was just curious because when I first saw the photo of the block, I thought... can it REALLY be that red?? (can ANY dyed wood be that vivid??). I love red too! But it didn't seem possible, so seeing the mod sort of confirmed that saturation wasn't possible:).

My block tho IS that saturated. I think the vaseline may turn out to be a bit of a blessing... when I washed it out on the violet one, it slightly lightened the original dye. Only slightly. Which means, darkening it again will be a tick less dark:).

But the mirror finish on the blues are gorgeous!!

WoW! I've not seen any of these that I didn't like. All works of art. The ambrosia maple is such an interesting wood to behold. It and the walnut are just classically natural and elegant. The stabilized ones are "rock star" beautiful. I thought CC's was going to be super red but it looks absolutely gorgeous the way it turned out...love the fire button too. The "tiger wood" is bad azz. I already have two stabilized OliverRs but seeing these makes me want another....maybe one of the natural woods this time. Can't wait to see monkey's ancient wood.

Yeah...I'm hopping up and down about that one!!

I have an unused, unmodified regular cap that I would happily trade for another AFC cap! However, they both have the same interior chamber size. Measured both on my calipers to 13.08mm.

Don't think you'll want to, but PM me if you're still interested.

I like the way they did the adjustable center pin on that one. As it turns out, I haven't needed an adjustable pin with either KFL and KFL+ on any of my devices. And the Russian 91% just frustrates me because it keeps adjusting itself without asking whenever I remove it from a device.

the diameter is the same, but the length of the chamber inside depth is longer with afc, the chamber is quite a bit larger actually

OK VH, here's the thing . . . . . you too, SFM .. . . . this stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to photograph. (partly because it also required an unbelievable degree of finish work . . . . . I could proly get a job at Maserati now :p. I don't like this degree of glass myself; but yer blue wouldn't come through. It just kept looking like hazy scratches on black until I got to "glass". Serious, serious PITA)

Anyway, I had to come inside (out of the daylight), turn off the lights, and draw the shades to get any indication of what these actually look like on "fillum".

Here's the two outside shots that showed anything other than reflections. (SFM is always left, VH is always right)

more to come . . . .

OMG!!!! I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!

These are totally bad AYUSS. Thank you for taking the time to put the extra bit of elbow grease into these precious custom mods! I don't think they could have looked better even with the matching caps and buttons.

You are a true artist, and I "patiently" await my invoice and subsequent tracking number.

the dark side . . . .. . between these four "snapshots", you two might get some idea of what the twins actually looks like.

I love the way they don't show a lot of their awesomeness until you look really close, out of the light (like me). :D
