Hey!

Does anybody know tbaz? Can't get a hold of tbaz by PM. Doesn't seem to have been around much.

Was Tbaz #37? Why can't I be #42 and tbaz be #37 if he gets his a bit later:p?

Well... does anyone actually object to me getting #42, considering that pdib didn't number any of them at all, and he's just going to sharpie sign mine:p?

** Edit - I was just being a smartazz... taking pain meds for broken toe, bit loopy atm:p

I spoke with him yesterday and he said he wanted to trade his spot with borescoped (just kidding) :p

He said he was trading with me for my second blue OliveR (also just kidding) :D

Funny, but not. I'd take the other blue OliveR, showed the wife how they looked and she loved it LOL.

I got mine today. the workmanship is really top notch flawless. I wasn't expecting it so soon so I didn't bring anything for it, waited till I got home and set it up. I put a cyclone on it and a pair of .055"id 26 gauge 10 wrap duals for ~4 ohm's :) no problems setting it up, I'm using the largest oring and no battery rattle. I'm really happy about the optional lower screw. using it at first I would sometimes press the button too hard and it would push the lower cap down breaking connection but using the lower screw to mount the lower cap it feels great, nice and solid.

I've seen some talk about the dna30 here and pete mentioned the mystery guy who wanted an extra piece for a lower extension, well that was me :) actually I don't think I've kept it a secret and I think I already mentioned in this thread that I wanted to put a dna in my dibi. I'm going to use it as-is for a while and then decide, but I got the extra extension and a few extra plates in anticipation of the possibility of this :) the dibi will be a challenging install for sure, not much room to work with :) going to live with it in mech form for a bit and see how it goes I guess

I do really like the dna's, especially in a bottom feeder. I put one in my woody, I built into the side on that one but I haven't finished the brass cap with the butons yet so I'm using it naked. I also put one in the base of my metal reo by adding a lower extension, same as I would have to do on the dibi here.

A few pics :)

of course the lower extension will be shorter than this when it's finished :)

Well, honestly, Scandal, I don't think it would look good. I think it's a bit gauche in any case; but I had marked a blue scrap with red sharpie when I was experimenting with how to get a decent looking finish on it (it really was particularly difficult . . .. but fun in retrospect). Afterwards I noticed that it looked ok under all the CA. It was subtle, but visible. On your Maple Burl, it would scream out like lipstick on the Pieta.

Ohhhh never mind that then. Don't want my Dibi looking like it was vandalized.

Oh the horror!!!

What a beautiful run this is. At least as gorgeous as run #1! As much as I love the natural woods, I am also a big fan of the dyed woods (I use space pics as wallpaper on my phone).

Hitting F5 refresh doesn't make the USPS go any faster! I mean, it was shipped from the opposite corner of the country yesterday morning. It should have been here last night! Which F-key is Crack the Whip? Maybe it'll work with Linx on my Linux box?

Hoping cracking USPS jokes doesn't jinx shipment.
