..well, run 15 getting started by Oct would mean getting through 11 production runs in 5 1/2 months. So yes, i really do like your optimism. :toast:

My conservative guesstimate would be production run 9 or 10 by Oct... probably run 11 before year end due to the holidays.

K&G's stabilized stuff is awesome. i've seen so many crappy stabilized things on ebay, stuff that crumbles and has voids all over but K&G stabilized is really as good as it gets, just ask peter, he'll tell you the same I bet :)

actually you can lok for an awesome piece of wood and then send it yourself to K&G, they stabilize by the pound(weight after it's stabilized) and it's really not that expensive to do. they stabilize under high pressure and the finish and density is just off the hook :)

my mod survived the abuse I've given it so far, and is easily repaired to as good as new mainly because it is a K&G stabilized block. raw wood would have been splinters by now  also a K&G stabilized block can be finished to a satin flawless finish not really requiring a higher gloss finish on top of it to fill voids and imperfections because the high pressure stabilized has almost no voids. the K&G stabilized raw finish gives the most realistic appearance of real natural wood, but with the durability and strength of an epoxy.... I can't say enough good things about K&G stabilized :)

Your logic appears to be sound, grasshopper. I retract my earlier estimate, and defer to yours.

If I were from K&G, I'll make you our spokesperson :toast::toast::toast:

I don't think i'd trust it either. Having no natural connection to the wood itself, it would likely have a "vein" where resin meets wood making for weak points in the drilling/forming process.

Now if the green resin were somehow added to the voids and vacuumed during the initial stabilization (and it penetrates 100%)... The whole piece would be more like plastic than wood and likely not cause for concern.

Perhaps the seller could clarify the process used?

yeah, I have no idea if there are others who also stabilize as well as K&G, of course there probably are several others who do, and who knows, maybe there is even better too, but I just don't know them. if mark says WSSI is similar to K&G then that's really good info for sure, any high pressure stabilization will blow away the much more common way most do it, which is by just a vacuum impregnation and then heat cure. that is way more common and way less quality end result than something like K&G's stuff...

Ok DIBBER NATION, I made friends with a wood stabilizer from ebay and he's interested to start vaping. I'd like to get him started on the right path but not break his wallet ( right away ..)
I'm thinking of recommending an itaste mvp 2.0 and maybe an Igo-W rba? What do you guys think?
His name's Matt and is real easy to deal with. If you find a scale / color you like, just msg him and he'll have the block cut to our dimensions and send it off to the stabilizer. I don't know anything about stabilizing but he prefers Wooddynamics SBI and also deals with K&G.

I might go with the iTaste SVD and iClear30. That was my first! :)

I still have it but it's grown cold since my first REO.

If he's never tried any kin'a vaping, I would start with the Njoy Kings. There's two strengths: 3.5 and 4.5% (as in 32mg and 45mg). Given that they give rather an anemic vape, those percentages aren't too crazy. This would be a reasonably satisfying start. If in a week, he's interested . . . . PV time.

Also, P. Busardo just did a review on the newest Kanger(?) tanks, and he's blown away. It's his new favorite.

ADDIT: Kanger Aerotank (mega, and mini)

There has been a damper put on my vape money supply, the Iphone couldn't do the job but the cordless house phone could...... women.
It was all between her and the TV, not sports either.
Note where I marked the imprint of the cell phone ( it's OK )
