Anyone know where we are on the list? I was supposed to be on the third list.

Good news! Bad News!

He's in the final stages of run 3 now.

If you didn't get messages about and respond with your picks for wood, type of plate etc, you're probably not in run 3.

btw: there will be no more "snippets" game for this run . . . .. . as there's only really room left for the "i'm done, here's the mods" game.

I'll be hard at it and focused on final assembly and detailing for the next couple days.

Sounds much better than snippets game :D

then again, I'm also the guy who prefers Coke, as it has bigger, stronger bubbles with sharper corners on them . . . . . . VS the Pepsi, with it's smaller, rounder, softer bubbles. :p

Now that you mention it, coke does have sharper bubble corners. Also barks root beer.

That is the original atomizer that Rob (REO) modifies to make the RM2. We get excited because it's 10 bucks for spare parts, like posts, screws, caps.

To tie this back on topic: The LP RM2 from Reo's mods will work great on your OliveR.

And if there are any unnamed mystery experiments going on monkeys arnt the only test subjects, robots can be great testers too! :p

You can also do the modifications yourself if you want to take the time and make an RM2 clone from a triangle. For the LP style version it took me about an hour and a half. I did use a little silicone tubing to stabilize the center pin at the bottom in addition to the existing center pin bushing, but everything else was just modifying what was there. Hardest part was drilling the center pin and keeping the hole on center and I did that by hand since it is soft. I don't have a lathe, so the regular version with the cut down base to fit the Reo cup would be a doozie to try and make.
