Can't like from phone but thanks all for the comparisons. I have my own versions and rm2 but none of the others. Mine are easier to build in and don't have to unscrew the top like the rm2 (hate that). Was curious how rm2 compared to the high end. Going to do more testing. Thanks!

i nvr liked the screw on caps but i guess you kinda get used to it + if its in your pocket or a bag as in your bag not me i dont have a bag :unsure: the top dont come off

the igo-s is okay but you have to mess about to stop it leaking by putting an o-ring under the cap and sometimes the cap is tight, then you dont squonk as hard to stop it flooding then dry hit lol, havnt used mine for a few weeks now.

my cyclone is the back up to the rm2 or dual coil rba and rm2 singles ... singles are enough when setup good and you cant really put a foot wrong with it, jeez i bet you could blind install and ita be good :D

I use my collection of atties for different juices. Not a huge difference between them to me really, but I have found some are better at certain flavors.

In order of favorite atties:

Hornet = fruity
RM2 = tobaccos
Cyclone (reg cap) = desserts/bakery
A7 on an epipe = pipe tobacco NETs and Pipe Sauce juices (likely more of a psychological/visual preference here)

After playing around with the A7 a little on my epipe I can see why a Challice would be killer in flavor.

I'd be pleased as punch to do it for you, Rossum.

OR- just PM me, and I'll make it all better for you.
What, you're seriously suggesting I should send it back to you and be without My Precious for a period of days, maybe even a week, or longer?
You're joking, right? :laugh:

I'll try some super-glue on a Q-tip, thanks!

I have messed up a total of 3 RM2 posts over 9mo. My fault, but it never would have happened w/ SS. And because I've used pliers to get the cap off, I think it deformed a little and has a leak around the threads... I salvaged what I could but just threw it out and ordered 2 more from Rob.

I've got a bf cyclone and a reogo-s coming in the mail so, I'll have to see how easy it will be to drill out the posts to accept my MM wire. SS is definitely what I want to move towards. But like the others have said, you cant really beat the ease of build on an RM2.

What do you mean you 'messed up 3"? They burned up by themselves? As for easier to drill out... SS is notoriously VERY VERY difficult to drill out, and you'll wear down tool bits doing it is my understanding. From a drilling standpoint, brass or brass plate is far easier, AND doesn't oxidize. However, I think the RM2 are stainless steel, someone correct me, I'm not sure if that's true ... which is probably why you had problems?

What are the posts in the Chalice and Cyclone made from?

RM2 is brass all over thats why i like the cyclone its all ss

rm2 brass posts/center pin + cap/body

cyclone ss posts/center pin + cap/body

What? No it's not, mines DEFINITELY got a stainless cap. The bottom however is brass (ground down to fit... something, not sure what), so the base is probably plated brass, the posts are likely plated brass, but all of it's a silver color. The top however is definitely completely stainless.

I'd not say SS is "very hard" to drill out - it's perfectly possible with a few drill bits, some kind of cutting fluid (i used e-liquid!) and some patience.

It took me 3 days with a hand drill and a dremel to drill the centre post and both airholes in the cap on my igo-w4 - i know i ought to have just taken the damn thing to work, but there we are. Drill a bit - get bored - have a vape etc.

I don't care for the igo-s much, because the posts are too close for anything other than microcoils. So mostly i use RM2s.

It's my understanding that all RM2's are plated brass. I ordered one as brass. All Rob does is sand off the plating. I took the plating off of another with about 30 seconds of sanding. I'm not sure if the atty that Rob modifies has holes in the posts to start with, but I can clearly see brass where it was drilled out. The screws are definitely not SS. They rust.

Personally, I prefer not to have my juice contact brass. Don't trust the manufacturers lead content.

If the screws rust, it's SS. Brass does not rust at all, impervious to oxidation, which is why it's used on Naval vessels. Actually all ocean vessels, for hundreds of years. What it does is crystalizes, becomes brittle, or corrodes (changes color to dull), which has nothing to do with rusting.

So if what you are saying is true, that the posts rusted, they are Stainless, not brass.

You can pickle the brass http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...increase-vapor-flavor-th-72.html#post11651987

They are not stainless, at least not quality stainless since a magnet will easily pick them up out of shag carpet.
