To say I'm impressed, happy, satisfied, whatever awesome compliment you can think of is an understatement! :rickroll: I just got my OliveR back from pdib after he surgically grafted on a new squonk lip. Nope not the same as the original, but considering I could not find all the pieces, this is incredible. Thank you so much Peter, your work is outstanding! perhaps a  is in order :D

Pic from the day I got it:

Pic a week later after I dropped it:

Pic from today after repair:

Pictures exploit the minor mismatch in grain; in person you really have to look to see the difference. I am beyond impressed considering what pdib had to work with. Hats off sir... and thank you thank you thank you!

Wow. I'm not nearly as nervous about dropping it now. But timk, could you please hang on to it for a few more weeks, so pdib can get this run finished. Then you can go back to abusing it at will.

Congratulations on a really nice looking repair job. Very nice!

Could you save me some time and remind me what atty that is you've got topping your OliveR?

Reactor by Madz Modz, seriously the best tasting atty I've used. RM2, cyclone, hornet, a7, and even a zenith v2. Doesn't come bf stock, but I cut two channels down the length of the center pin with a dremel. Squonks perfect, drains completely, and with 2 coils in it there is no room for anything but flavorful vapor. I really like the big square neg posts that fill the extra space in the atty.

awesome repair, looks great... that's the kind of thing you'll only see if you know it's there and go looking for it, otherwise no one would even notice nice to have it back all fixed huh? :)

yes sir, just about ordered a LP/SL grand to get me by. I just can't get the same vape on any of my other atties as I do on the Reactor. Probably going to buy a LP/SL grand and another reactor rba anyway.

Thank you, the Reactor is really nice looking and just about the perfect size for a lot of different mods. The only thing missing to make it totally perfect is AFC (and native BF). A lot of us already have our preference dialed in though.

I have a BF modded Zenith V2 but I'm very tempted to give the Reactor a shot. I love the Zenith but its so big. The Reactor just seems to be a much better size.

It's 15.75mm in diamter btw. The top cap is very thick so it does heat up and stay hot if you chain vape. It wouldn't take much to machine the bottom section down flush and slip a ring on it for AFC. Been thinkin about it. Mountain Oak Vapors has a few in stock still. Don't buy all though LOL I need at least one more :)

:lol:I think I pulled a muscle laughing at this! Thanks for the good laugh. The "fix" looks great. Glad for ya.

How many other mod makers would have gone the extra mile?....well, maybe one other that I can think of.

Did the center pin screw out or did you have to drive it out. Did you cut channels into the pin or the insulator? What implement of destruction did you use to cut the channels?

Center pin pressed out, well ghetto pressed out (hammer, wood block with hole in it, old drill bit for punch)
Cut channels in pin. Don't like the idea of cutting the insulator, I like my pin in tight so it doesn't turn.
Used dremel with cutoff wheel. Freehand so not exactly perfect, totally 100% functional. :D

Pic of the 510 side, goal was to leave as much of the center pin for contact.

I'll be doing a couple more in the near future, I'll take better pics then.
