Yesterday i overdid the cleaning and adjusted the throw to nothing, so the Dibi sat there firing and burning my atty red hot until HRH said something.

I managed to destroy the wick (silica) but the mod is fine! I didn't want to replace the wick and coil right then, because i was watching the boxing, so i went to grab a Reo, but left the black one at work....so i whacked a tank on my old silver bullet and bleh!! 2 month old juice, not good.

I made a new build for it today and all's rosy again. I have thrown all juice in my other mods away.

I everyone running the silver stud and brass nut at this point? The throw with my original aluminum screw was quite long, even with both washers under it. I believe there was also more pre-load on the spring.

Nope, my first Dibi is as it was in the first run. My second will have all the bells and whistles. :thumb:

HRH's Dibi is original too and as far as she cares none the worse for it!

I removed the spacer under the firing pin and under the bottom screw so that the throw is as she likes it and the batteries fit. She does not understand why i need a fancy spring and solid silver firing pin in mine, but that's because she cannot grasp the idea that this can be the best sub-ohm vape that is not a tube mod.

Crap. It won't be this month. Too much money went to Greece and 5 vehicles have to be registered this month.

Thanks for the info, 22.

I'm not buying anything else for a while. Last batch of vape mail came from Finland & Greece. I'm done. Just hope my willpower, or lack there of, doesn't make me a liar.

I can agree with that. I like to know a little something about the mod before I make a purchase.

Someday, I'll have multiple OliveRs to love. For now Olivia gets it all.

Normally I'm the same but this last mod I purchased I didn't know anything about it. It was a *gotta have it* moment.
I've not put it down once. Been getting more love than my ProVari/s.

I feel ya! I've got 2 drippers and some batteries coming in. No more mods for me for until it's time for OliveR #2. I even thinking about thinning the herd and let some of what I have go.

Yeah, the mechanics of the silver contact alone are an improvement. Shortening the throw on the original design did load up the spring. Personally, I'm really digging the silver. And every time I read about plating wearing off on the contacts of other mods, it makes me proud to be offering solid silver. That was a very effective group brainstorming session. Thanks for all the great input, peeps!

And this is where I become stuck. As soon as I sell or give something away I want it back; esp the more expensive stuff. LOL!

While it's not much of a consolation, sometimes you get a day off like that down range, and you get bored enough to just go back to work, or at least I did in CSAR maintenance.

Unless there is a greenbean where you are at, or a Tim horton's.... Then it's time for a vape and coffee all day.
