Kay so, got a set of twins here; both the children of drop-outs. The first was left on my doorstep early in the process, so I've already handled the adoption. The second, however, was a very late drop-out, so it is available to the first person on the list who wants it (of the people who PM me, saying they want it, it'll be the person who's turn comes soonest on the list). You'll see the second one isn't fitted out with all internals yet. Button is there, but not attached. I've made an SS 510+post for it; but am willing to make a Brass one upon request. Haven't fitted it with fuse (vs BeCu strip) yet either.

Also, there'll be one more mod available to first/next listers who are interested. I made one extra mod this run to try out some new wood, and to have a backup for all the other new woods I used this run. It'll be a few days before I can post pics of that. But, keep yer eyes peeled .. . .don't be lazy . . .. don't be slow. :p

Seeing this in person, I say they are true works of art. just beautiful. And so smooth! P, I'm really glad you talked me into the finish. It's not red at all and retained it's pink color nicely.

I think the one on the right is my favorite side.

I won't be setting it up till the weekend when I can take some time with it. For now, I just keep looking at it, marveling.

just gorgeous! (am i allowed to say that?)

yours, is #40, damselle.

Some of you might notice I started putting it on the invoice. I don't think I did it for everyone in this run, I think I started around #42, and then just kept doing it.

It's been said often on here that pictures don't do these mods justice... Well that is one hundred percent accurate. The quality of the finish and the attention to detail is just unbelievable. Worth every penny. I'm amazed. Thank you, pdib. Here is the traditional mod-in-hand pic-

Just in case you hadn't seen it yet, burlsource.us is apparently having a sale on all wood in stock. If you have wanted to get a beautiful piece of wood for your Dibi, go check it out.

Btw, the "Dibi Mod" section appears to be gone at the moment? I don't know what's going on there.

great pic! I'm always torn with pics, cause the smaller sizes really show the general feeling better; but I feel I should go pretty big to accurately represent. I'm so glad you like it!

is it making poof-poof?

Hey. So, yeah, VW or VV certainly has it's advantages. As it is, tho, one of my main aims in this mod was to keep it as compact as I could. There's just no room in it as it is. Couple of my friends have been working on chippy versions, and they're both aiming for things that could stand independently or be worked into some body work on my part. Nothin' solid, just a little quiet playtime for now.

Completely understand that. Obviously making room for the chip would increase the size. I just have a dream of having a regulated, bottom-fed mod with a magma RDA modded for just that type of device.

Poof-poof indeed! Works as good as it looks. Speaking of looks, I love how it changes color depending on light and angle.

And I love the compact form of the OliveR. A change in dimensions to increase that squonk lip strength just wouldn't feel right to me. It's a great mod. I'll just follow your advice and keep that screw in place. I just got back from a short fishing trip today with a REO, a Gus tube, and a Vapor Shark. I just couldn't wait to get the Dibi back in hand. I have taken it down to the docks (not on the boat) and wasn't the least bit nervous (well, I never let it out of my hands, either).

Although I would understand a change in dimensions for a chip. I don't know if I would opt for that. I recently bought a DNA30 mod and I'm somewhat disappointed - probably due to its lack of buck cirtuitry (I'm basically using it as a mech). Still, technology is moving very fast in this industry and I am always open to new stuff - even if I have to fight the wallet to get what I like.

Gorgeous! I'm not normally attracted to green, but I think it was those green mods at the beginning of this thread that moved me the most - and got me into the realm of bottom feeding luxury.

Congrats!

Lol. I guess I got the custom PIA version!

Are they numbered somewhere?

In my case, it came via PMs, but I think it was because I asked about it. I seem to recall the bee would print it in lipstick on the mod by request?

Or was that done with a sharpee by special request for a certain c/glassy gal?

And there I thought you might have imbibed some adult beverages when you posted "LIST FOR THE SAKE OF HAVING A LIST" -- after all it was just before midnight in your time zone.

Next time there's a list with no apparent purpose, I will put my name on it.

Then again, I already got one out of turn, so I'd probably feel bad if that happened a second time.

But I'd get over it eventually. :D
