The one on the right was the prototype.
Correct.

Now we want photos!!!!!
please..
Well our host has previously posted pictures of this one. Moreover, conditions are not optimal this evening (a bit hazy here at sea level with a high layer of thin clouds to boot) so I didn't fire up a real camera, but you know what? These quick and dirty and dirty pics shot with my phone just now turned out decent enough to post anyway:

Yes, the bottle is still empty. I attached a clean, dry atty just because it seemed silly to look at a headless mod, but I haven't been able to bring myself to place her in service yet -- she's just too perfect.

Some day, when conditions are better, I will post proper glamor shots taken with a real camera.

The photos turned out great!
and....your mod is beautiful.
If it were me I would be sitting out in the sun, take a hit then move your mod around watching the stripes in the wood change shape and move around. I am very fond of chatoyant, figured woods like the Sapelle Peter used for your mod.

it's not gonna fire.

he'll get it and it'll be like . . .. . . doesn't fire.

that's what's gonna happen.

..so I got my DiBi today, put in a fresh VTC5, pressed the button, aaand............NO LOVE :(

It only took me a few seconds of screw adjustments though and when I tried again, it fired up hard! So hard that when i let go of the button, it's still firing! LOL.. the copper top cap heated up quick too! So I popped the bottom cap off real quick, took off the button and stretched out the spring. Now it's working great!!!!

finally I can proudly call myself a Dibber!!! :D:D:D

..so without futher ado .

DiBi freakin' DANCE TIME!!!!

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

that's the soon to be official DiBi atty! I'm still working some details with a cnc shop for Pdib's original post-less design so for now we'll have to deal with a positive center post. The final version will have a much shorter post so you guys will appreciate the extra real estate :D

The chamber strikes an excellent balance of flavor and vapor production:vapor::vapor::vapor:

I knew that. Or at least I thought I knew that, til I read your post. I'm at that point in life where it's easy to make me doubt my memory.

But how does it work for you? What do you like about it?

I always liked the flavor I got from my origen v1. This seems to give me more hits between squonks than my igo. I was worried that with the deep wells, I might get leakage if I had it leaning or tipped too much, but no problems so far. I stuffed the well pretty full of cotton. (That's right, old school cotton)
It's really just another option, I guess. Won't say I like it better than my igo. Just different. Put a more aggressive build in it. Had to put my drip tip insulator on for the extra warmth.

Lil FYI : the $15 origen v2 clone at 101 works with the $15 bf pin available at vaping craze. That's a $30 origen for your dibi's.

+1 for vaping satisfaction at a better price.

I got also a 1:1 clone from G Vapors and the only really big difference is the center pin which gets replaced when doing the BF center pin upgrade. It's a pretty cool alternative.

I'd have to agree that running dual coils in the Origin is a pretty decent vape and not having to squonk nearly as much is a really nice feature. I really enjoy both my Origins, the V2 and the V2 1:1 clone.

I'll have to try that trick of adding cotton to the drip well. I've had mine leak in my pocket and it was quite a mess.
