I can vouch for the fact that those 2900 mAh Pannys are awesome with a dna-20. As for a mech, I can't say. My Dibi won't be made for a while yet (my slot is in the 7th batch).

I think a lot depends on what resistance coils you plan to run in your atty, because that's what determines the draw from the battery. Just because the Dibi is a mech and can provide close to 10 amps doesn't mean everyone will will build coils that pull that much from it. Plenty of people are totally happy with 1.0 ohm or higher coils on their mechs, which are only going to pull about 4 amps, and if that's what you're doing, then a different battery might be be optimal for you than for the guy who's running at 0.5 ohms or less.

don't confuse/conflate mAh and amperage. Two very different things.

When you're vaping mechanical, the values change as to what's going to provide a satisfying vape longer. As soon as that battery drops under ~3.7 volts, it's worthless to you. Furthermore, you can have 3000mAh, but if the battery can't deliver the amperage your asking for in a 3 second burst (if what's stored in there isn't coming out as fast as you need it to); it's a worthless extra 1500mAh. What's more, generally speaking, the more storage capacity a battery has, the more internal resistance it has (meaning that you can't pour juice out of it as fast as something with less stuff crammed into it. . . . .. it's about elbow room for electrons) ;)

Aha! A post I understand! Thanks, Mr. pdib. "elbow room for electrons"..... finally, someone is speaking my language! :D

For amusement i nominate this as post of the day, since there seems to be nothing vaping cannot be blamed for!

What I think happened to him was that he forgot to drink when he started vaping, and dehydrated and got kidney stones... which can cause real pain in the exact spot he was complaining about.

Solution: cranberry juice for a week, plus water all day long.

what i got out of it is that dibby is prolly better off invoicing me sooner than later
:)

At 5A even the 2000mah AW IMR should go longer in a mechanical, little lone the 1600mah AW IMR which is better yet and more than likely something else is even better.

The green line I added at 3.7V.

Just trying to be helpful.

EDIT Although in a VV mod the Orb would blow away the AW

Got to get to bed now so I will leave you'all alone now.

Okies. Remember you asked for it:). When I got them, I almost fainted. So I wrote him to thank him and tell him I know that I caused him extra work but I appreciated it... and to see if he had some more violet pieces for Vwls and Valheli...

He said no, those were 2 of the best pieces he'd ever seen himself, and it was a good thing I appreciate them :D

Unpolished bone dry backs (the faces are fully polished, they are smooth as glass):

The mess on my desk, they look better than any mods I have... but uh... they are HUGE:

And... I think he sold me his color samples... hehe. The sides are even more beautiful than the faces... they are the 'ribbon' sides and even without polish are iridescent. Actually, they don't even resemble wood... they're like some alien planet thingies... I don't know that I even want them carved up anymore... they're pretty darn amazing looking art by themselves!
