Yeah, so I'm moving up the list with the MADRONA mod. (one, which I must confess, is actually one of my two favorites) I'm almost getting tired of PMing people one at a time, waiting for a response, checking to see who's next. (it's already been, like 2 people, or three even)

.. why not just post the next 3 or 4 folks in queue so you'll get a response simultaneously?

I can vouch for the fact that those 2900 mAh Pannys are awesome with a DNA-20. As for a mech, I can't say. My Dibi won't be made for a while yet (my slot is in the 7th batch).

I think a lot depends on what resistance coils you plan to run in your atty, because that's what determines the draw from the battery. Just because the Dibi is a mech and can provide close to 10 amps doesn't mean everyone will will build coils that pull that much from it. Plenty of people are totally happy with 1.0 ohm or higher coils on their mechs, which are only going to pull about 4 amps, and if that's what you're doing, then a different battery might be be optimal for you than for the guy who's running at 0.5 ohms or less.

yep… i have been an AW IMR 1600 fan since the Provari first came out (it was recommended; i guess for "LR" atomizers; 2.0 and down… all the way to 1.5 sizzlers lol )…

and since the first mechanicals started using RBA's with wow! less than 1 ohms coils, it was a natural with its 10 amp spec.
(I got over a doz over the last year)

I've lately been lingering around the .4 to .6 mark…. even .34 ohms w/ duals.

I've been told by much smarter than me that AW IMR 1600 will handle it as long as I don't hold the fire button more than 5 seconds, which is actually a long time for sub ohms vaping.

But just to be safe I look for High Drain or IMR type batts with higher than 10 amp rating… and imo its a PIA because you got to research length, button top, flat top, what fits, what is good which one is so so… threads like this where the smart guys bring the info is amazing…
and Pdib will fit your DIBI to the batt you prefer.

There's a saying that has served me well over the years: "if you want to catch a fish ask the guys who are catching them exactly what gear they are using"… down to the littlest jot and tittle (mine)

Those are gorgeous, Glassgal. I am torn between the gorgeous walnut/olive and the colored woods :/ The traditional colored wood will come first and later I will decide about the colored one :/ the purple is calling my name, but... sheesh, I haven't liked purple since my Gran made me a lavender bedspread that I took to college with me LOL

I got a sampling of Fuzion Vapor from the classies. I've bought Gummy Blood for ages, but I've just dripped 5 different new ones and I must say that I have found my Dibi juice company. It's STRONG and flavorful, I don't find that too often unless I add max of everything.

Okies. Remember you asked for it:). When I got them, I almost fainted. So I wrote him to thank him and tell him I know that I caused him extra work but I appreciated it... and to see if he had some more violet pieces for Vwls and Valheli...

He said no, those were 2 of the best pieces he'd ever seen himself, and it was a good thing I appreciate them :D

Yeppers, glass, those are stunning. The darker one is particularly sweet (so deep and vibrant).

[and in the same breath he said]

There's a world of difference between the AW IMR 18650 2000mAh and the 1600mAh. It's the 2000 that's 10 Amp. The 1600 is a 24 Amp battery (max. continuous discharge). Uke, you could hold down your button on a .3Ω coil until your battery runs down to swappin' time with the 1600. (although I haven't tested the 10A fuse for a one hour long button push)

Thank you mamacita, I am torn on which I like better... when I saw the pix, I figured if I had both in hand, the decision would be easier. Well, it's not. They are both astonishing in their own way, and they are both MUCH prettier than the photos. I really don't know why I can't get a great shot of them. Actually, I do know... the wood 'ribbons' like pdib said about the mahogany. When you turn it, even the unpolished, well especially the unpolished, sides become more radiant and dimensional. I think the polished side may be the ugliest of the 6 faces on both pieces. These are some of the craziest things I've ever seen, and they are WOOD!!!

This is the Madrona one... what a beauty!! The tree itself is quite remarkable, it's often used to make guitars. So if someone LOVES guitars, particularly acoustic guitars, this might be the perfect Dibi:)!

Um . . . .. I'm not quite at the begging stage yet. Just annoyed with my system, and PMing folks one at a time (I can't really PM 4 people, get two of them all excited, and then dump one off a bridge, btw). Anyway, if it were an "any takers" kin'a situation . .. . Ratchet up there already called shotgun on it.

pdib - Can't you make an excel file for everyone to submit their info to so they are on an automatic list? Then they can click a link and SEE where they are. Anyone needs to give up their spot, you, and only you can edit it =] Then you only PM those who need special attention and not everyone who wants in on these.
