I don't think anyone will need a repair kit for quite a while. The way its built there really isn't that much that can go wrong. I've had to adjust the copper leaf coming off the positive post once but that's about it. The firing pin might need to be polished once and a while but its not likely to wear out for years. (No filing)

I like it. I mean I REALLY LIKE IT! :w00t:

hey, loli. good question. I've been thinking a lot about that, all through the design process. The simple answer is yes. I haven't communicated much of that information yet; but plan to have a "technical thread" running by the time anyone might need it. The whole mod is built to be easily accessible for cleaning, maintenance, repair. Most parts are readily available and can even be substituted with similar items. Although some of the operations involved may require a deft touch, this mod is intended to be supremely modifiable and hackable. It's the backyard mechanic's dream vape machine. I will be happy to supply any replacement parts needed, and I intend to provide some simple tutorials in the tech thread. All that coming soon.

what's more, you can always send it in for a little TLC in pdib's workshop

Don't want to mislead here, tho. I have said that I consider this to be an "intermediate" mod. Some knowledge of how a mech mod works and some basic understanding of simple electronics (like completed circuits and clean contacts that are actually touching each other) is a good thing here. I think I mentioned before; if this mod ends up being somebody's introduction to vaping mech and modding, there's going to be a learning curve. That's not a bad thing, learning is good.

So pumped to be on the queue list 6th batch means it'll be a bday present to myself ?:) and so worth having my first bf a dibby

Hi Juice, before we welcome you to the club, let's get the name straight first ;) We probably have 10 or more pages discussing what to call this piece of art. Lots of names were thrown, suggested, and debated. In the end, we all agreed to disagree. The Artist (still known as) Pdib gave us the priviledge of naming his creation.. with the exception of calling it a DIBBY:

OK.

but I gotta say this . .. .

I very much prefer "dibi" to "dibby". . . . .. only spelling, same to pronounce. (i imagine it's a Hungarian thing.)

Can y'all just do that one little thing for me?

Happy Dibs are known to make more dibiMODs.

(don't even care if you don't like it as much. . . . . .. . do it for me)

WOOOT!! WOOOOT!!! WE'RE STILL DIBBERS!!!!

Some call theirs Oliver Dibi, OD, Ollie, bad ayuss muthaf!@#!@#, DibiMOd or just plain DiBi

Being retired from the US Navy, I still carry certain traditions I simply don't break. I don't name my cherished possessions a male name, especially if it's associated with a sock puppet.:D So I simply call it DiBi.

Thanks to supertrunker, this name carries more meaning to me now than before.. Dream It, Believe It --- Do it, Be It

so call it what you please... but in honor of the creator, don't call it Dibby :D Welcome. We're all as pumped up as you are.
