Got your answer, but if you're old enough (in Internet years), you might remember the grea^H^H^H^H frustrating Terminal backspace. Still used in some old fogie Usenet groups.

So, another thing I'm doing while wrapping up run#1 is looking at how long it took to do, where I could be more efficient, and where I've simply hit the wall as far as speeding up the fabrication process goes. I know I can do it faster than this last run; but I also see that I can't create these mods nearly as fast as I had hoped. They simply take a lot of time, a lot of work. They're special for reasons that can't all be thrown into the "faster-upper" gizmo.

I've reassessed what I need to charge in order to continue doing this. I don't want to charge any more; but I have to. It's either that, or no mods. I'm really loving this whole process; from my peeps here to gettin' busy and making some sawdust fly. And I definitely want to keep doing this. So, here's the deal: If I take a look a little ways down the road, and shave off a good bit of fabrication time just on the assumption that it will go faster with practice . . .. .

I need to charge:

$275 for a standard mod

and

$295 for custom matching

"Custom PITA" will be determined as needed

I won't be discerning between copper plate or aluminum, nor between brass or SS 510+post when these more accurate prices are fully in effect.

Obviously (←maybe not, IDK), folks in run#1 will be paying the previous, underestimated price. (i.e. same as what you thought before reading this)

I'm inclined to keep the "pdib's eatin' shoe soup" prices for run#2 Stabilized as well (as we are already just getting started on that, and folks have sent me their materials with tacit agreement). Also, I'm not inclined to charge for run#2 standard mods at the full price either. I'll figure out a way to squeak thru on that; we'll talk, we'll compromise, we'll work it out. Let's meet half-way, perhaps.

After that, it's gonna have to be pretty much true pricing for this little venture to survive. If some individual feels the need to discuss their situation, or has some extenuating circumstances, PM me, I'm all ears. Bear in mind tho, please, that I'm setting it up as tight as I can and still have a prayer that this will sustain.

Thanks,
P.

Well sir, in that case......:

Just let me know what year my group will be shipping in and I'll check with my preferred retirement home to see if they allow dibi Olivers.:D
