Ahem... Give the rm2 a chance on it... It's pretty sexy. With a little post adjustment it does what it needs to

Isn't bloodwood like purple heart? Super super dense and hard that can't take stabilization throughout... I remember a while ago, Pdib said he wouldn't do super hard woods and I thought he mentioned purple heart....

Oh... I dunno :( I hope not. Lol. I do see pieces of stabilized... It's just all sized for pen knives...

If not I have another piece that's also real red in my cart that's stabilized... Lol but I'm hoping for blood wood cause... Well that's friggin cool in my opinion lol. Plus I already bought the drip tip ha

I just remembered what pdib said... that if you insist on a super hard wood, you have to buy him a full set of new cutters (how bad you want it? I'm going to guesstimate new cutters running an additional $500-$1000:)?)

I did find this on bloodwood:
Bloodwood | The Wood Database - Lumber Identification (Hardwoods)

Workability: Bloodwood is extremely dense, and has a pronounced blunting effect on cutters. The wood tends to be brittle and can splinter easily while being worked. Those persistent enough to bear with the difficulties of working with Bloodwood to the finishing stage are rewarded with an exceptional and lustrous red surface.

Yea if saw that post... I should have clarified my request, or asked if it was possible? Do they even do a blood wood burl?

Well... if he will agree to do it, I found it for you, and it's not even very expensive. Still, the wear and tear on tools and risk of splitting seems pretty high. Maybe you can stabilize it yourself? Amazon Exotic Hardwoods: Bloodwood

I also found that amboyna burl is very very close, but may not be as hard to work. And baddog burl had a piece the right size when I got mine (he may not have it anymore tho).

GlassGal those are sweet!

Question for everyone... What would be a good BF that has an air hole like the RM2 but would look stunning on the Pdib and drains?

I know I won't have mine for quite some time. But, I've got a couple items up for sale I might trade for something that is recommended here.

Thanks! :D

Not a recommendation, but this looks interesting

OK OK :) here's the description of Del Sole:

"GRAAL": The new Rebuildable Atomizer by Del Sole

- Top Air version: air flowing at the coil level with AIR CONTROL ring
- made with 316 stainless steel
- 14 mm diameter
- brigde with Phillips head screw for a easy coil change
- small screwdriver included
- 510 drip-tip compatible
- drip-tip included in the standard version
- spare screws included

Finish can be SS polished or SS sanded.
Air control ring can be SS polished, SS sanded, Brass polished or Black

The air control ring has 2 holes: 1 fixed and 1 adjustable

Price:
- 89 € without driptip
- 99 € including driptip

and some pictures of mine ;)

Inside it is similar to Madame Chalice so the liquid won't be ''cooked'', the liquid can return to the bottle through the hole in the middle of the base.

The top cap is screwed on the base, the coil can be placed in different ways.

So I hope that's enough information so far, my English is not that good to explain much more

Single coil. Duals aren't my thing. Tried a couple times. Not digging it.

I really like my RM2's. I've had a chalice and a cyclone. Stock holes too small for me. Chalice was difficult for me to put a coil on. Who knows. Thanks for the pics/suggestions.
For combined ease of build and flavor it will be hard to beat the RM2. The Divo has slightly better flavor but the same post config as the cyclone.
