i think you might be pleasantly surprised Dibby - after all, he'd not use the same gear as me if it were total guff.

One battery a day - no cleaning and whining from ......s at work about the clouds - it's a winner! I have yet to drop it, not that i am protective, just not happened yet :O

T

So, mine had a boo-boo. It was sitting on my 36" workbench. I dropped a light fixture on it, which shot it out about 5' and onto the concrete floor. Pieces everywhere. Body, fine. Caps, fine. One magnet broke loose, leaving a magnet chip in the hole. I just grabbed the superglue and squeezed it back in there with pliers, hoping I'd align it properly against it's "chip-mate" in the hole. Not really. Filed it's face down a bit. Soon discovered another magnet had loosed up in the fall. cleaned up the hole and superglue + hard squeeze with pliers. all good.

that said, You and Mundy are NOT allowed to drop yer mods!!!

. . . . .. understood? :|

But that watch is still a form of jewelry, albeit one that only people who actually know something about watches would recognize as such. :D

Actually Rossum, people who "actually know something about watches" would be the first to tell you quite the contrary. A watch is closer to an engineering feat than it is to jewelry. Like Filthy said, what we care about is the complication of the movement or the engine that drives a fine automatic watch. Anyway, that's the last I'll say about this, further discussion belongs in a completely different forum.:D:D:D

:toast::toast: my friend, THAT Constellation is a fine choice to go with the Dibi, this one goes with mine :toast::toast:
