Speaking of ash, vaping in volcanoes, horse dungin's, golden hay, and screwing gently; sometimes y'all are kind enough to inform others as to where things are at over here (with the list and stuff). To that end, I just wanted to mention that run#14 has a couple slots left in it; and I'm soon rolling into telling folks they're in run #15. (couple more people and then . .. ).

I'm thinking of trying something. I'm thinking of doing a few more mods per run. I've been observing what it is that happens in the course of a batch, and I've come to realize that I may not be able to go much faster; BUT I think I can go MORE-ER. Meaning, I think I can do about 13 mods in just a few days more than I can do 10. So, instead of 10 mods in 3 weeks (which is stubbornly proving to be a month), I'm thinking 13 mods in a month. (do the math . . .. I did . . . it's fun)

So, what does this mean, to fine folk like you and me? Basically, on account of a few folks dropping out in run#3, I'll be doing the rest of 4 and half of 5 in the next batch. And then rest of 5 and ALL of 6 in the batch following. (Mid~Late April starts run#4/5 and Mid~Late May starts run#5/6 . . .. I'm thinkin'). If 13 mods/run proves reasonable, I'll rejigger the designations starting with #7 and on up and report back at such time. (basically, there will be 13 peeps in run#7, 13 in #8, 13 in #9 . .. . and some folks will find that they're in an "earlier" run)

That is all.

Peace out.

Love.

and chitlin's.

:p

Good point how far before build time should we send a block to you?

I don't need any lead time on it. If I'm posting pics, and someone hasn't already mailed a 2 day priority package for the next run .. . . .that someone might want to grab the car keys and head for the P.O. (preferably the P.O. with the wormhole). I won't hold up a run for a late block; but i'll be happy to put it in the very next run.

My other BeCu parts have been holding up great (not make/break contacts; but other contacts). I haven't been able to find a ready source for something like a BeCu 8/32 Machine screw tho. I would be very curious to see how something like that would hold up (sans plating).

. . . .. .or one could just buy a year's supply of brass 8/32 machine screws for like $10 at the local hardware store . . . .. swap 'em and drop 'em . . . .not sayin', just sayin'

I don't have plans for an 18500 at this point. I think a battery spacer would be pretty straightforward. Thinking about it a little bit . . .. if you have the space, why not use it for the mAh and the higher Amp limit (the lower internal resistance) instead of a spacer? Unless you're thinking of buying a charger that won't accommodate the 65mm batts.
