I don't like the snippet game. Every one I looked at had me sitting here--is that mine--no that one--no. ...well it KINDA looks like mine. ...... Then on to the next one! ....repeat.

I loved the mx510! Til I used it on the floor and accidentally stepped on it, then decided to 'upgrade'. I still have the G500. A lot of people complained about it, but it's fine once you get used to the wheel, and it too will last another 10 years
. I think the best part is the cord... really really good cord that will never fray or kink. Funny how it's such little things make us like or not like something. Well, I like the settable thumb buttons too, could set my 'talk' button and 'attack' button on my thumb control.
Anyone heard from jasl(?) about his modified microgen?

For me... picking the wood was half the fun... Although Peter has some amazing blanks, it just depends on what your into... Dyed? Natural? Dyed Stabilized or Natural Stabilized... choices, choices... lol.
Edit: Oh and let's not forget the elderly wood that floats by occasionally... Well sinks actually... It might float again now that it's dried? oh dib dang it I don't know... lol.

And I still don't. I went for pretty.
Aalwani, I wouldn't worry too much about selecting wood. I've got others saying "surprise me". Worst that can happen is you don't like what I picked, and then you're first up in next run.
