BTW, I've got wood and it looks great. It's a little lighter and less yellowish than the pictures show it to be.

I am actually a bigger fan of the Igo-s, (I have several RM2's) and it is very easy cut a channel for bottom feeding frenzy
I use a hacksaw and a vise on the center post, once I've removed it. It doesn't have to be perfect, just allow for juice flow and it works just like a professionally modified Igo-s. I have a couple anodized18490 mini's and they will only work w/ a reomizer , so all is well in vapeland
I'm excited about run7, by the time it's my turn this baby's gonna have a silver lined NOS cooling system standard for .007 quads
maybe it'll have built in ceramic micro chamber atty w/silver posts and .007 voltage drop
then I can go back to 1Ω coils and have a battery last a full 6ml, just dreaming outloud (or in text)

It does indeed look a bit like distressed leather indoors. But out in the sunlight it has colors that are actually quite amazing. I've been trying for a while to capture them with a camera, but my phone wasn't cutting it. Well, I was down in the mountains down in your neck of the woods this past weekend and I think I finally got close with real camera. So:
Yes, the wood itself has a bit of a distressed look, which is kinda fitting since it's a Maple Burl that was "acquired" from a felled tree in a park in Seattle and has been drying in our favorite artisan's shop for about 7 years.

Your pics really did bring out more contrast. Nice. It's funny, I was excited that there was a dibi in sw va. Soon, one will take up permanent residence here.
