can I open a thread of just dibi pics?
I've been thinking for a while that it would be really helpful if there were one place to go where one could find pictures of every OliveR ever made. I know Peter has pictures on a couple of photo-hosting sites, but what I'd like to see is an old-school (Web 1.0) website with those pictures presented in an organized manner; say a home page with a single thumbnail of each mod, with that thumbnail being a link to a page containing all the available pictures of that mod, as well as a description, and if the owner of that mod wishes, his ECF username. Call it the "pdib OliveR catalog"?

Now I realize Peter might not be inclined to do that himself, and if he's not, then the question becomes: Would he be amenable to someone else doing it?

Ok I'm sure it's listed here in multiple places, but for the life of me I can't find it. What is the minimum wood blank size? No real hurry I've got about 7- 8 months:cry: But I want to look for wood and take my time to look for the perfect piece.
Also what run is Peter booking on the waiting list? I'm on run 14 and would like to get on the list again for about run 16 - 17.

ABSOLUTE MINIMUM SIZE: 3" X 2" X 1 1/16" body only. If you want matching caps, the length should be at least 4". Show Pdib the block to determine if it's ok for matching caps.

You'll want to look for sizes that are at least 1/8" more. If you see a block that states the same measurements, contact the seller for accuracy.

Yeah, so I had made a point of not publishing required dimensions on the thread. The main reason being that I want to establish communication with someone who's actually going to buy materials. There are other things to discuss beyond the size of a blank for a body-only mod. If you are buying materials for a mod of my making, we are entering into an informal agreement. If you are buying materials without communicating with me first, there is no informal agreement . . .. there's just you, in your world, agreeing with yourself. I think I should be aware of a person's intentions in this regard, as I can better help to make the experience a fruitful one. . . . . And I don't want mystery cr_p showing up at my doorstep. And I want to minimize the unhappy surprises for everyone. Please contact me via PM if you are thinking of purchasing your own materials.

btw: matching caps often entails matching button, and that size requirement exceeds 4".

I'm only allowed two threads at any one time. If someone wanted to open such a thread in another sub-forum, I would strongly, strongly, strongly suggest that they check with a moderator (of that particular sub-forum, listed at the bottom of each page) as to whether it's ok. (basically, it should be fine). I can have nothing to do with it. I can't post in that thread. I can't mention my product in any way, anywhere except for in my two threads. I would like it very much if someone wanted to start such a thread; HOWEVER, I would ask that y'all be very careful: if it can be construed that someone else is "in cahoots" with me, or acting as a promoter for me, we will both be permanently evicted from ECF. There will be no more anything.

My supplier status on ECF dictates that I not have any external websites selling/promoting my product. If someone else wants to have some fun on the interweb with image groupings (like Mr. Walnutz . . .. thx), that's great. I'm not allowed to. If I wanted a different kind of supplier status, I may be allowed to have a website; but I think the wait for such status is over a year.

I also want to mention that these limitations are fine with me, as they go hand in hand with having this wonderful resource (ECF). And I'm super appreciative of being allowed to participate in this forum in my wonky little way. :)

Started out as a repair... Became retrofitting a new body to my end caps... Hence the Resurrection.
When I sent her in, the screw was apparently frozen in place and... Some things happened.
Peter, being Peter, wanted to rectify the situation. So here we are, with a reborn witch mod in our midst, courtesy of PDibs INCREDIBLE customer service and dedication.

One of my topcap magnets popped out. So being too lazy to refit it, i just vaped away anyway, but it allows the top to swivel.

So i put a drop of superglue in the hole and as i went re-fit the magnet - it zoomed over and stuck on the other one...and then my glue had dried, so i used some nailpolish remover to make...a splendid gooey mess!

Shopping is done though. :)
