So, I've sent out 3 runs now, and the USPS label printing continues to stupify me. I'm guessing (because it really does seem erratic, and I really am paying attention when I do it), that if a person wants to guarantee a "carrier leave", they need to ask me to put in a false value on the site (like, under $50). What this would mean, i imagine, is if the package was damaged or lost, insurance or no, the person would have absolutely no recourse with the P.O. Man. . . . . .. (or Woman). I'm not willing to downplay the value of the contents of someone else's package, and waive any rights to compensation that they may have unless I am specifically and clearly asked to do so.

What's wrong with just using paypal's shipping? It tracks, it sends confirmation, and you dont' have to fill anything out...

This piece of Oregon Maple Burl from Mark at Burl Source won't be going to Peter anytime soon. I was a SiLlY dIlLy and didn't enlist asap. Since I have been following the thread from the beginning... one of those just born babies could have now been coming home to Papa

Maple Burl is 6" x 2&3/8" x 1&1/16"
