Where's your Dibi now?

Sent from a BIG phone.....Galaxy Note 3

Post office. My post office. I put in an redelivery request, and they summarily ignored it. I get to yell at people tomorrow, and probably pick it up Saturday from the post office.

My original plan was to actually make a necklace/lanyard for the dibi so I can wear it... have to see the size first;).

It's SUPPOSED to arrive tomorrow... but given Florida's flooding issues, it may not arrive til Sat. Can't wait:)!!!

Post man can feel free do deliver to Lake Mary, not flooding here, I'll take care if it for you while things dry out :vapor::toast:

Can you talk him into doing some blues or combos with blue?

According to mark there, he should be getting some more in different colors (including blue) sometime later this month.

I all ready asked him regarding an "Oregon Maple Burl" like the one below, but in blue (and in the right size) for my dibi in group 13. :p

the long skinny brass one. holds the bottom plate firm. my habit is to button smash when i'm not paying attention. the stiffness of the spring makes it not so obvious when it makes contact to the battery. i am learning though to put my pinky finger under the mod on the battery side when firing, solves the issue without the screw. well my issue i was having for a little while today.

and be careful installing that screw:

"In your goody bag, there’s a brass set screw for the bottom cap. It’s redundant, by design, but should you prefer the bottom cap to be more “fixed”, you have that option. Bear in mind please, that the screw threads into wood. Be gentle and focused in seating it. Personally, I would dry-fit the screw in just the cap to get a sense for how deep it sits when fully engaged."

Thank you. I had already put it in before seeing this post.
Not sure I really need the screw since I wasn't pushing the bottom cap off when trying to fire.

sooo is it working?

i was having intermittent misfires and was not pushing the bottom off, just enough so contact was broke.

I just upgraded my REO Grand to the new sub-ohm kit. Worked like a dream for a few hours, then died too. Drove me absolutely nuts trying to figure out what it was, took it apart as much as I could... made no sense. Finally tried to poke the metal strip up further, and since I couldn't reach it with pliers, I tried with pointy tweezers. It pulled the silicone cover away from the 510 pin and solved the entire problem. When I pushed the strip on, it caught a bit of the silicone and was preventing contact with the metal. Soon as that released, it was just fine, and working great. Is there a part that is preventing contact?
