Nope, not really a secret. Bill's original recipe called for 10% each. That is great if you aren't pushing too much power (watts) IMO. I upgraded from trident v1 clones on my VAMO V2 and Nemesis clone to the REO/RM2 set up and Mundy's Magic wire, so I dialed it back a little bit, to 8% each.
I mix, then hot water bath it a few times, then uncap for a few hours (with plenty of shaking in between), then cap it off. Ready to vape right after, but better after a day or so.
I credit Bill's Magic Vapor for sharing this originally with me (was sent in a care package). I modified it down for my tastes with the MM wire. If I'm not running MM, then a higher % is fine, all IMO, taste is subjective and YMMV.
Should look like this color (kind of a bright fluorescent/neon translucent green), after it steeps up, but clear when you first make it. The higher the %'s, the more green it gets (at 8% each, it's a lighter green, at 10% each, its got more green to it). It does stain the feed tube though. I normally wait until it turns colors before vaping it.

Hey Borescoped I like a bit of peach and pear to, I only got the pear the other day
I already had a big bottle of peach mixed up
but the peach was missing a few things
50/50
peach 5%
EM 0.5%
MTS 0.5%
Sour&Tart 0.5%
then I made up a 33/67 mix with only nic and 5% pear... ...and just add the two mixes 50/50 to the squonk bottle.. tastes great
at such a low % with the EM I haven't had any muting, just tastes better and better

My two new SL Reos arrived with a very generous gift from Mr. O'Neil. It has, however, found it's home on the Simian replacing the cyclone. The cyclone is my fun atty during the day. The Simian is my kick back and be glad another day is gone mod that I refuse to take outside here!
Anyways, thanks to the reomaster, i present the Simian's new hat
Laying in bed enjoying a 50/50 blend of NEMP and Gigdujour's famous apple pie baccy that I have grown quite fond of.
