They're really just to help me transition the digital brain to the shop brain. By the time they land in their boxes, I'm almost done with them.
Yeah makes sense. Before the age of QR codes, they used to have a list of every option that would go to a particular car. It was taped off somewhere in the interior so that factory workers can simply look at it and know whether the car would get heated seats, a particular radio, an automatic transmission or a manual, etc. Usually, they'd keep building until these sheets would get covered up under the interior.
At our car club, we used to refer to these build sheets to see what was later added on the car and which ones were factory installed.
