I'm going to assume these pictures are of units that lucky people already on the list are getting shortly?

Yes, he shows them to us to make sure we want them before he sends the invoice and ships them out.

LOL, like anyone has ever said no.:D

you mean like the material, or the "who to stalk"?

No, I meant the list of those who're sending their mods to me for, er....safe keeping let's say ;)

Master of Bassets...and not much else.

ETA: Those not sending me their mods go on the stalking list ;)

Oh NO monkey!!!

I think it was turbo (??) who suggested gluing a penny to that bottom section of the wood part to help reinforce it? Or some type of short aluminum tube (possibly aluminum cigar tube?). Would that help?

I'm pretty sure that unless I throw mine at concrete it won't break (big leaf maple burl) because it's a more flexible wood. I think this is one of those wood uses where maybe high wood hardness (brittle) works against the thinner lip part.

Oh, hey, as long as we're talking about fancy buttons: on these I didn't charge extra for custom materials. But, as I was making them, I did realize they do entail some more labor than do the black Richlite ones. (mostly sizing and prepping the blanks, and the fact that the varying materials can have different characteristics and sometimes take a couple of tries to get successful buttonage). In future, I'll add a small extra cost for custom button requests on standard mods. Nothin' crazy.

Ari Gold is (was) the man. In our halo clan I was DRMA, my son was VINC, another dude was TRTL and my step dad was LOYD. none of them ever even saw entourage :). I had my step dad thinking Lloyd was a baller. He was actually but in a catching sort of way :)

Oh, and BeCu strips in place of fuse. I've gotten to fashioning a rather particular shape . .. .. . takes more time. . . . .. . coupla bucks. In future.

YES...TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!

I want the richlite top and bottom cap but would love a matching button if the wood were to work for that. And what ever you charge I know it will border on fair to you not choosing to charge enough....
