Do you want to trade spots Claudia? Mine will be ready August sometime...![]()
I'm September Kogijiki -- Not near as long away as it was when I got on the run list.

a very generous offer!I wonder if it's dry enough. I also, wonder about shipping costs for a big fat chunk of wood. I'm always interested in increasing the variety available for these here peeps. You would certainly be doing them a great big favor.

Yep. That's what I did. As soon as I saw pdib's work I knew I had to have multiples.Everybody with these numbers in the 2 hundreds. I'd suggest you get on the list for your 2nd and third now. If you wait until you get the first one, it might be another year out for the next. Just thinking out loud.
I'm just joking dear Megan, I can wait.![]()
Sometimes 2 people will contact me, asking me to do a direct swap between them. Something they've discussed and arranged for whatever reason. I see no problem with that, as it doesn't effect anyone else. As this has happened a couple times, and I've come to realize it's a good tool and (I think) perfectly fair, I've offered it a couple times to good peeps in need.
Usually, when there's a dropout, I just move down the list, in order, asking, "are you able to go early, or do you want to wait your turn?" *
If there's a really last minute dropout, something that's going upset my schedule, and is frustrating, and will basically cost me money in work time lost or fewer mods produced, I improvise. I might shoot for the next person on the list who I know is actually ready to roll. I might just make a random mod and see who wants it when I'm done. Or I might feel it's an opportunity to insert some chaos of my choosing into the order and fairness that I put all those hours into creating and maintaining. I feel on those rare occasions it's my prerogative.
*currently, due in large part to this, and in some part to increased productivity, I'm doing the fifth actual run of mods; but am half way through "run7" on the list.
You say that now. In a month or two you'll bee the padded underpants when you start kicking yourself
Master of Bassets...and not much else.
I think Peter said earlier that he's working on run 7 now. You're out there with me (244, I think), sometime mid-late next year.
...earlier at a vape shop
guy 1: Staring at my mod
friend of guy 1: " Wow, what kind of mod is that? "
guy 1: " is that marble?"
me: " It's called a dibimod OliveR. I call it DiBi for short. It's made from Elder burl stabilized wood."
guy 1 and friend in unison: "..WOW"
guy 1: " So how much is it and where can I get one? "
me: " it costs around $300 ( a little more than 13,000 pesos ). Just pm Pdib in ECF and he'll put you on the waiting list. "
friend of guy: " ... a waiting list?? Like a month or so?? "
me: " uhm, more like almost a year or so "
guy 1: " that sure looks nice, but who would want to wait that long for THAT?? "
me: waving my mod ".. this is not the mod your looking for. Move along.."
