If it can't push out 50 watts, I have no interest in it. But also, I have no interest in something that's not beautiful to look at as well as efficient and powerful... because life's too short to vape on something you don't LOVE. That said, they have the 50 watt regulated mods out now.

(But they're ugly.)

I used to go with my friends bar hopping as I was the grungy girl in clay covered overalls (non threatening and no competition they thought... ) and they would be dressed to the 9's and I was the one having drinks bought for me and hanging with all the guys.

No doubt..you seem like you would be fun to hang with hon! ;)

Back to thee postless atty, I was checking out deedupdexs thread of his coil builds and came across this

image.jpg

Swap from a quad to a dual to a single in seconds. Rock what you feel that day. Don't throw your perfectly good coil away because you want to try something new. 3 different "frames" for a quick swap on your rda. One is a quad, a dual and a single. I haven't had any time to build this week so I thought I'd share something I have been doing when experimenting with diff coils. I try to minimize build time because when I build most of the time don't have enough time. When I make coils I just simply bend the legs into a "V" or "Λ" shape so I could just pop it in the posts really quick for a quick test fire. I made 3 different frames that you can swap from a quad to a single in seconds. This might be helpful to some of you builders out there. Some not. But to those who can use this, a couple of notes are: 1) Always open up the "V" or "Λ" prior to mounting to maximize contact pressure and security inside the posts. 2) Never torch the "V" or "Λ" which goes into the posts. 3) Clear the post holes from any liquid with a quick blow. This was very helpful to me back when I was building on an Omega and have just revisited it with this Vapelyfe hybrid w/ no post holes. I have rocked them like these many times with no post screws as long as you adjusted your frame to be secured prior to mount. Anyway hope this helps some builders out there. Stay tuned as I have tons more of ideas to build after the meet this Sunday!

If you haven't seen his builds, check them out here

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coil-builds/530367-deedupdex-builds-variety-builds-2.html

Dude does some sick builds and most all are fully functional, the ones that aren't he calls fun builds and they are just for show.

Anyway, the idea is to make a heavy gauge frame and use it to anchor your build in the screw holes.

I haven't tried this but it looks like he was thinking about Nuppin when he came up with this.

Hope someone finds it helpful :)

It certainly does pass quickly, although it didn't seem like it for a couple of months in the beginning. LOL

Claudia --the first couple of months were pure hell for me. I'm an old fart and smoked for 40+ years and didn't even know about e-cigs until a knife reviewer on a Bushcraft forum posted a video with an eGo dangling from his neck. What water filter is that I asked..lol
He told me he quit smoking and started vaping to save money for more Bushcraft knifes and gear. Great idea I says, I thought they were all like those Blu e-cigs that I tried when they first came out and wasn't impressed.
He gave me a link to his vape shop and a couple of months later I found ECF. Haven't looked back except to my Bushcraft knifes. I haven't purchased as much as a Ferro rod since I started vaping. ;)

I know you like the regulated vape
Yeah, I do. There's a lot to be said for having the same vape no matter your battery's state-of-charge, as well as being able to tweak it up and down some at will.

but you're still miles short in terms of what you can hit with a low Ω coil and a battery.
I suspect it's not as far short as you think. I have an in-line meter coming and will make some measurements under load next week.

If it can't push out 50 watts, I have no interest in it.
Whereas I'm perfectly content between 15 and 22.5 watts, so it works for me, at least for the time being. Of course, it wasn't all that long ago when I was satisfied with an Aerotank at 8.5 watts and then a Kayfun at 11. :D

life's too short to vape on something you don't LOVE.
While I would LOVE to have a regulated dibi, I simply wasn't willing to hack up one of Peter's masterpieces to try to make that happen, so when I had the opportunity to build this, well, I just couldn't resist.

Peace. :vapor:

I guess I am as I have a lot of guy friends. I have fun and don't go limp at the suggestion of doing something like fixing stuff or power tools (raised by a contractor and rancher so grew up around guys) and I don't have to wait for someone to tell me what needs doing, just jump in with the guys and get 'er done! I was never one of the ladies sitting in the shade, I was one of the ladies digging out the horse stalls...I was born to be dirty.

Of course I still try and do this and scare everyone half to death as I tend to do stubborn things like haul tables and 50 pound glaze buckets then suddenly fall over. Then all the guys come running over and sternly tell me to sit the ....... down!!!

I can't say I'm a gal who can fix stuff for myself, but right now I'm a wet dishrag from pulling up tress and weeds.....It's good for the soul to sweat though. and good for your health. I think anyway...

I'm stubborn....drives my boss and coworkers batty. My husband is very proud of me, of how I have a very debilitating disease yet just don't ride that as an excuse to get everyone to do everything for me. He does get frustrated with me though as I'll be hauling the laundry downstairs and fall a bit and it freaks him out so he rants at me to have him do stuff. His phrase he uses all the time with me is "Stop being so damned stubborn!!! I am happy to help, let me help!!!"

Er....I was raised by frontier western folk. You stop working you better be dead  and I find it very hard to accept the reality of my illness. Of course that stubborn independent streak is why I can build PT heads, coil and wick my OliveR and my Reo. Gosh darn it, I'm not dead yet!!!

I think so too! Also, my hubby and I have a rule in our relationship: "if you think it needs doing then do it yourself otherwise let it go, don't rant at your partner to go do it"

Of course I am the weed nazi and am always working until I face plant a few times then hubby comes out ...... and rants at me to stop and go inside. My war with the darn bind weed and elm volunteers will never end though.

Ha! Love Monty Python!
Yes you are a tough chicka and I know hubby is proud to have ya around. Can't beat country folk of any kind. Can't take that out either. I live in the suburbs now and am the only person in this development that half his back yard is a garden..lol
Lunch was fresh squash, corn, tomatoes, and cubed steak. All but the cubed steak was grown in my back yard. Ikr? I may be too country even for country! :p

Naw I'm not at all horrified. :)
Last August was a bad month for BT but a great one for vaping, I know at least 5 or 6 others who smoked their last in August of last year too.

August 15th for me too! Claudia is now horrified to have something in common with me - well tough! :)

Nobody wakes up and vapes full on! When i voop it's on a Reo and RM2 to gently ease me into the day. The blatant cloud-chasing comes later after coffee and so on.

Me too I think I have it figured out at about 47 years cause I quit in the 80's for 7.5 years and started when I was 10 so without the 7+ year hiatus it would have been closer to 56 years.
I smoked the first month I vaped, I actually started vaping July 20th or there abouts, and never smoked more than 4 a day from that day on, I was down to two a day after the first week, but the last one was on Aug 15th. I guess my one year as a vaper is actually tomorrow but I prefer to count the year from the last one smoked.
