Well, as the gov says, it's not flooding. After a couple of rebuilds, I noticed that my Penelope "ponds" when it's about to go empty or if I freshly top it up.

I've tried long wicking, short wicking, 3mm, 2mm wicks but the results are the same. I do not lock the neg wire under the nut ever. Een with juice control closed, it "ponds". Totally different from Ody.

I've also tried changing out the plastic washer to a small o-ring, same results. I switched back and now I've switched out the bottom o-ring.

I've even tried taking out the top cap's o-ring first, filling up, putting the o-ring on and then screwing down the top cap. Same initial flood occurs.

Anyone having this issue of "ponding" as well? Got any solution? Any info is much appreciated.

Cheers

Have uall tried applying vaseline to the threads and o-rings prior to assembly?

Umm... Tecnhically, doesnt applying Vaseline to the o-rings and threads be equivalent to mixing your juice with Vaseline to Vape. Definitely gonna give u a weird tasting juice...
Never done that on an Ody though.

I have done that on my bulli a2tm with no ill effects. If u've watched scott's videos on youtube, he states that he applies vaseline to ody and penelope.

Vaseline is only used to lubricate the threads, for me I just use VG to make the threads smoother, I just checked with Xsupreme and the penelope i rebuilt for him has no leaks almost 5 days now after i rebuilt it.

@mad :try to make sure that your liquid control is closed when filling , coz the top cap of the pen tends to open it when you screw off the cap, ( But i think you figured this out already)

Happens to my ody V2 as well, realize the mouth piece is slight bented so when i unscrew the fill cap, the o-ring opens the juice control and Pond appears.

I think the bulli and the Odys or Penes are built totally different. There was an initial issue with the Ody first batch because Imeo had applied Vaseline on the ceremic cups to insert it into the ceramic housing. This caused a "soapy" taste for many. So putting Vaseline into the tank system is a big no no. Unless you like vaping some soap juice. :)
Plus, issue is with ponding, not that the threads are not smooth enough. Don't see how putting Vaseline on the threads would stop the ponding.

But thanks for the idea. Maybe someone who has the same issue can experiment with this?
