People are more against vaping than smoking

In my area, this is happening. I will be having a vape in a smoking area, and they will march right up and preach.
This never happened to me when I smoked.
People - they are crazy

They don't understand and fear that their smoking will be endangered. They just don't understand and want to be left alone.

I was at a friends house the other night for a house warming party, lots of smokers and the homeowners do vape. Lots of kiddies so we all vaped outside but I was suprise attacked while taking a pull of the iPV3 with a subtank on top.
I get that "You don't even know how much battery acid you are inhaling" comment and I almost hit the floor laughing!
After a short discussion on how Li Ion batteries do not contain any "acid" and the fact that there is no way for the internals to reach my lungs, said person got fitful and frustrated and the balcony..

Battery acid?!?!

I refuse to waste energy arguing with people who are against vaping. If I see there is interest then I will explain and demonstrate vaping. When I see hostility towards vaping I just tell them to have a nice day and walk away.

It really made me angry the other night, having a get together. A friend of mine was interested in vaping and wanted to try it only to hear his wife who chain smokes more then Marge Simpson's mother start yelling and nagging at him to put it down. Then she started at me on how my vapor was burning her eyes and making her gag. It was really disappointing because he really wants to quit smoking and I was about to pay him forward my MVP 2.0 that I no longer use.

I have had good reactions as well! Also the owners of that house I was at have been vaping for a while with Ego pens. I pulled out my iStick 30 watt and let them take a couple puffs off the Subtank in RBA mode and they were both blown away at the flavor! Asked immediately what juice to order and where to buy a new set up.

I have gotten lots of positives and usually when I get a negative comment its instantly shot down with "what are the ingredients in your cigarette?"

That's so bizarre to me, I mean I know it happens because while not aggressive, my own smoker friends have made some disturbing and completely unfounded statements towards me starting vaping. A little snarky comment on how because we KNOW what poison and cancer causing agents are in cigarettes then it MUST be safer, right? Usually shuts them up.

Cigarette smokers judging vapers is completely absurd. I look at it like this: some people will find anything to b*tch about, abruptly followed by "go complain to somebody who gives a ....".

I've seen something similar to the battery acid thing in a Facebook comment. 30 seconds on the guy's page proved that he was a complete .....(lol I can't say m oron?) but he said something along the lines of "attaching something to a battery then sucking on it sounds real smart!".

Sometimes people say such idiotic things that it's not even worth trying to explain to them how stupid they are because natural selection will take care of them for us lol
