People are more against vaping than smoking

To those who brought up the location that I vape:

In my post, I stated that I was standing in a smoking area (i believe i said with smokers)

I am careful of where I vape. Its all of the "Dr" Oz type of shows spreading the crap, and generally the people who confront me are remarkably similar: 40ish to 50ish white women

It seems to be an issue of control. You are be-bopping along with a tank full of liquid and they don't know what's in it. Of course they are imagining all sorts of evil stuff and it drives them crazy. With a cigarette they can immediately know you are a pos and turn up their nose. Heaven forbid we should live and let live.

It's an ego thing. Over-inflated egos, at that. Most people, more specifically smokers, look at vaping as some cheap novelty, fake smoking, etc. it's almost like they think they're superior to the people that vape. The whole mindset of, I'm more hardcore than you cause I smoke. I've had a lot of older women trash my vaping, all while they suck on their smokes, leaving lipstick stains on the filters.

What it comes down to is uninformed people that don't know jack. That's today's society as a whole. It is what it is.

It's the worst when smokers put vaping down. All I say when they do is that you have your habit and I have mine. I don't try to explain that vaping is better.
