Maybe it’s time to get a little more persuasive. How about telling them to sign or...

I just finished a google search and dropping the link to the petition into some comments on articles. Some of them will likely never be published, but I know at least one or two went live immediately.

It's so frustrating - the WORST articles I found (saying stupid things like nicotine being the most addictive substance on the planet) didn't even allow comments (of course not - can't risk letting someone try to balance their slanted agenda with some truth!)

I'm up to my ears in construction work (thankfully:)), but glad to see that things are moving with this.
I made up a pseudo business card with the URL to the petition and a brief description of the cause, then printed a few dozen on some card stock that I had on hand. Between the counter guys at the various lumber yards, wait staff at the lunch counters, delivery guys, folks at the convenience store where I get gas and coffee, cashiers at the grocery store, etc, I've handed out about two hundred in the last couple of weeks. I don't have the big megaphone, but every little bit helps to get the message out. It already feels like a win to me.
Giving up is not an option.

Keeping it on page 1.

I got an e-mail from change.org this morning informing me of a petition I may want to sign. The petition to require UPS in Arizona to provide air conditioning for all their drivers. So far it has over 85,000 signatures! Really? I guess I am really getting too old and admit I do not know all the "ins and outs" of petitioning, but a state wide petition for a "nice cause" having over 4 times the signatures as a nationwide health benefit cause? I imagine all UPS drivers and their immediate families are signing, but where are all the vapers, shops, and juice makers and their families? I guess it reflects the power of the media.

And if it matters, no, I did not sign that petition.
