Les, way to go! Hope you had fun. :)

This is the stuff that came up under cat-proof trees.

The one with a pet fox was more interesting than the one with a bored cat, sorry.

This seems just mean. Kind of like giving your catnip in a permanently sealed jar.

Or just hogtie the cat for the holiday season.

signed!! Government tobacco regulations exist to protect individuals from the harm of tobacco and carcinogens why would we possibly want to have the federal government deep vapor products as tobacco and regulate them? This is counterproductive!
Dogg, thank you for signing!

The answer to your question winds up sounding like a conspiracy theory if you get the short version. In a nutshell, it boils down to the clout of ginormous companies, politicians pretending they are saving "the children," and horribly misinformed people. A good place to learn more is here FDA Regulations

Your EXACTLY RIGHT and my question was hypothetical... I'm a political science major but it doesn't take that level of education to understand that money affects politics and tobacco companies have plenty of money to pad pockets of politicians who need money for their re-election campaigns to vote on "non-important" issues in the eyes of the general American public such as whether vaping products should be regulated. Unfortunately Vapeheads and casual vapers are not in the majority in this country and politicians are much more easily persuaded with financial contributions to their campaign funds to vote on these types of issues than ones which require them to take a stance on a "nationally recognized" bigger issue such as abortion, gay marraige, etc... what I'm saying is they have to get their donations where they can and this one is an easy one to fly under the radar.. :(

Glad you get it up front, it's come as quite a shock to many new members. It's not just the FDA though, many have been broadsided by state and local government laws also. For example, both California and Washington have tried to ram through, among other things, a 90/95% tax on vaping. So far, they haven't passed in those two states but have in other places. Don't want to pound you on your first day here, but please consider joining CASAA so you get CTA (call to action) notices about what is going on near you. Other than that, and national CTAs, they don't bug you. It's a group that was started here by ECF members.

Whatever you decide is okay, just know that we appreciate that you cared enough to sign the petition. If you have any questions about CASAA, Robino1 is dying to answer them. :)

ahhhhhh, It is so refreshing to see a fairly young person that sees and understands what is actually going on. Thank you for taking the time to both read and sign this petition. Please share it all you can as we are coming down to the wire and sadly, it isn't looking good. :(

Thank you so much for this information! I joined the CASAA wrote emails to Barak Obama and Virginia State Senators and Representatives and made a phone call to VA Rep David Brat to encourage his support of HR 2025! I joined this site to learn about vaping mods and take my vaping to the next level but the most important issue is advocacy! What good does it do for me to purchase this nice setup if the wonderful juices I plan to enjoy are taken off the market next spring!!

Wow, you came out of the gate firing all guns, nice job.:thumb:

I assume you vape nicotine, if not, forget this. Most people here are stocking up on nicotine, putting it in glass bottles, if it doesn’t already come in them, and stashing it in the freezer. You can learn a lot about nicotine and making your own juices here DIY E-Liquid Not at all trying to dissuade you from trying different liquids, it’s just if the crunch comes you won’t be left helpless. Do learn how to handle it but don’t be overly freaked out by all the warnings, certainly have respect for it.

As the Flamingo says, if you vape nic, stocking up is a good strategy. You can get flavorings, pg and vg later, when the need arises to blend your own flavors, a relatively easy procedure. Some things they just won't be able to regulate away.
