This needs to be pasted on every subforum in here there is. No need to place such an important thread only on here where a lot of people dont bother going. I for one didnt know of this issue till today when Jason of eletronicstix sent me an email. In fact, EVERY supplier on here SHOULD be emailing their costumers on this very issue and provide a link to the petition.

I don't know...that could get ugly for some people. I like the cause, but not enough to get 6 e-mails about it after I've already signed. Then I consider the poor folks who have been vaping for a year or two (compared to my month or so), and the fact that they're probably registered with dozens of suppliers...yeah, there would be some unhappy people out there. No one wants a crapload of e-mail, especially if they've already signed the thing. And there may be some people who don't want to sign it; they'd be even more upset about too many e-mails.

I think a single mass e-mail from the ECF admins (as suggested earlier in the thread) would be far more effective and less invasive. If suppliers post something on their sites to reach more people who may not be members, I think that would be sufficient. I'm all for getting the word out, but let's not suggest anything that would anger people and/or give e-cig suppliers a bad reputation.

You're totally correct about the suppliers and I've posted it a number of places on ECF. I don't know if there is a thread in the newbie section. For some reason I can't post there. The numbers grew a lot since this morning, about 400. If everyone keeps up the effort, we should be below 2000 needed by the end of the weekend.

I just signed it. When you look at the site stats (Members: 71,392 Active Members: 9,714) there is no reason it should fall short.

Only if the active members don't see the link or figure someone else will spend the time to register and sign. Good to hear it's now in the newbie section. Someone has to keep that near the top!
