I fondled one of these today in my local B&M. Two post deck with 2 post holes in each post for all kinds of builds.

I assume one post is positive and one post is negative.

The entire deck is insulated and there are two screws at the bottom of the deck which I have no clue what they do.

Top cap is a dead Paradigm knock off so I assume great flavor is very doable.

Overall construction is super solid. It is high quality mill work. Post screws are over sized and well milled.

They were asking I think 90 bones for it.

Anyone own one?

also is t really 24c gold. That is soft stuff! Wouldn't it just rub off??

Mr. sikastits just did a review on it. He stated that he used it for a month or something and that the gold didn't even wear off the 510 threads.

Probably will show wear by the end of next month. Unless, of course, the manufacturer didn't skimp. Considering the cost of good authentic atty's I'm disappointed that we don't see more thick gold plating.

I picked one up for nickle builds since the Velocity is always out of stock. The red matches the buttons on my VF so that attracted my attention as well :) The issue that I am having is that the screws seem to have been milled out just off center in the top of the posts. They are both closer to the center. The issue this is causing is that even with 26 gauge nickle, it will not tighten down enough. The only way I have got it to work is using 26 gauge kanthal or 26 gauge nickle twisted with 28 gauge kanthal. It is a nice and very good looking device. I think the air flow is right on target with the Tugboat V1 (which I like). Non of the reviews I watched before purchase mentioned this issue, so it could just be mine, or I will go through my entire 50' roll of nickle before I get it to work... It definitely makes me questions getting 28 or 30 gauge nickle so I do not have to do so damn many wraps, lol

I think its a bit of an airer draw then the Tugboat but this attie is a good one for sure. I had one for a while and then I traded it, funny I saw this thread....I have really been thinking about another one. The Dot Mod driptip, the wide bore 510 not the chuff, is a really nice tip. I currently own four of those tips. They are my second favroite tips.
