The one from MOV i got today has the tapered head there the drip tip goes in and an O-ring at the base. Everything else as far as the guts looks the exact same.
I wonder if the new version is reason for the price drop. I got mine today and it was the newer sloped top version as well.
It's made by a different company if I'm not mistaken. The ones with the non tapered top are from the philippines.
I dunno but I got the sloped top one and stuck s silver anodized ming on it...looks and works super on my eGo's. I did build a gnarley dual coil last night that I am going to pop on my VV when I finish it. Maybe I should buy one more for single coils and use this for dual's??? I watched your vid mentioning triple coils Optimo...no...just no

Made a 5/4 coil with 3mm wick. Came out at 1.6ohms on the provari at 3.8v and hits like a truck!!!
Exactly. And with 34g and the 5/4, you'll reach 2.6-3.0 ohms. They kick. I just recoiled all my new arrivals tonight.
Mountain insinuated that these weren't the knock offs. But I believe they are. BUT....they hit like a truck indeed.
Yea using 32g a-1 kanthal. Gonna try a 6/5 to see if I can get closer to 2.0. Have to get the loops close though to fit.
For those who are on the fence about purchasing one from vapor....., MOV will probably charge about $3 shipping and VB is $0. $1 difference. I just ordered one.
so i picked one up from mov for $16 shipped, seems like a good deal to me. it does have the sloped top cap, not flat...not sure what that means but it works great so far.

Yeah there's not going to be any performance differences between the two...just cosmetic differences. I think the one with the sloped top cap looks better myself. Got one coming from a co-op.
I didnt know there was one with the sloped top untill i opened it up, but i do like the look of it more than the flat. it goes great on my stainless ego twist.
