Just got one in today, finally I'm done with throw away attys and cartos and couldn't be happier. Got my Vivi's for tanks and this for dripping.

I'm wanting to rebuild this so bad I can't stand it but it's performing awesome with the stock build I don't want to waste it. Haven't tested the number of drops yet but I can say it holds a ton of juice without gurgling, flooding or leaking, kinda like a dripping carto.

The only minor gripe was the opening for a drip tip was to small, none of my drip tips would fit. Rather than modifying a drip tip I rolled up some sandpaper in a tube shape and spun around inside took care of that, didn't take long and all is good now.

I had the same issue, seems there is a burr at the top of the opening on these and taking a small round file fixes them right up.

Same here. It fit my Mawn Pawn drip tip perfectly though, so that was awesome. I still ran a round file through it so it would fit all my drip tips though...

Love the atomizer. Flavor is great. I didn't realize how small the internals were (Looks larger on video). Maybe this may help those people like me that may have a hard time seeing this tiny device. Picked it up at Radio Shack for $16 (And some change).

If I'm not mistaken, Vapor......com has replacement wick and coils and I think I saw ss mesh there too, hope I could help. I'm buying mine on Monday :)

Yes, they do. I ordered some stuff to play around with. The free shipping was the deciding factor for me. Be advised though, they only had 4 units of the mesh and wire left. I bought 2. They may still have the other 2 left. It was pretty cool too, they were showing 0 in stock, I sent a message asking when they would have more, I got a reply that they did have 4 units left and to give them 5 mins. Voila, I had a couple of 6" lengths in my cart. Sounds to me like they really want to take care of the customer.

Thanks guys, I figured I'd give the Phoenix a shot first to see if I like rebuilding before I shell out for a DiD or Zen. It seems like all the rage now is rebuildables and rightly so. Seems like you can save a good amount of money this way.

The sites that sell the wick and wire as well are their prices reasonable or would it be better if I order it seperate from other vendors?

I get my wick and wire from here...good vendor and good prices http://www.vapoligy.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=29

You can save a ton of money with rebuildables...nomoere buying standard atty after atty. Costs cents to make a new wick/coil. I love the Phoenix...don't feel the need to upgrade to a higher priced rebuildable at all and prob never will.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, every coil I make tastes burnt. The first one was too close to the insulator of one of the posts and it was starting to melt a little, so I get that. But this one is really good I think, and still does not taste good. What do you do with the newly built wick/wire, just vape? Burn it? I thought for sure this one would be good, idk whats goin on!
