Not the OP, but (gasp, shock, surprise) I have an opinion on the Tempest...

Interesting battery cartridge/magazine
Comfy for a 3 batt mod
Nice looker
Decent TC, but...*

No firmware update
Funky beveled top that causes a lot of tanks to hang over
Bizarre menu (most changes have to be made while the mod is off
*maxes out at 50 watts in TC

I really, really wanted one, but the limitations drove me away...

I got it at a steal and couldn't say no. It'd been on a shelf for a bit...that wrap breathed new life into it. It's been paired with that very Cleito 120 for ages...maybe that's why it was shelved as the 120 coils were...gross...the new coils have this nasty, almost burnt rubber taste to them. The RBA deck eliminated that completely.

These guys sell ohmazing...heh...wraps for many mods:

I already have the Wraith that maxes out at 50W in TC and have to build accordingly, so I'll just forget about the Tempest.

Quirky mods that you can get for a steal are a bonus for sure!

I evaluated an Tank/Mod combo that had nasty rubber tasting coils, totally unusable. No RBA deck for it either so that tank got thrown in the junk box.
