I'd say you should get a Cloud Beast instead. If not that, then a Cloud Beast instead...

Ah, I see you picked up on what I was thinking...then again, I might just get a Cloud Beast and call it a day.

And no, my promotion was not to the Department Of Redundancy Department.:p

I pulled the Beast off the shelf and built it tonight... Before you posted, even... nice tank. I never use coil heads... currently running a dual, fused clapton SS316L 26x2/32, 6 wrap, 3 mm ID, .14 ohms in the rba section. It's setting atop my sigelei Fuchai 213 in TFR mode. 100 watt kick, 440 F.

Very Nice!!! Earlier I was rocking the Baby Beast on the Alien with the Claptons that came with a rebuildable deck from Fasttech. Although I am early in my mod vaping days, rebuildable is the direction in which I want to go. As soon as this octo-coil thing in the Cloud Beast bites the dust, the rba deck will be pressed into service, probably with a basic dual coil setup for starters. Clapton coils interest me greatly, I may just try to make my own.

Cheers,

JD

Do you have a Alien mod? I think you do. What is the size difference between that and the Fuchai and which do you like better. If you have one that is.

I do. I'll pull them both down and compare today.

Size: Sigelei is a touch taller, otherwise nearly identical

Aesthetic: purely subjective, but I kinda like the Sigelei, but that screen on the Alien...

Performance: Smok takes this one. The Sigelei is good in power mode and will go higher than DJLSB claimed with the correct batteries, but it's still not what's advertised. It's also fine in TFR mode, but the stock settings are blah. Also, Smok has firmware updates.

Decision: Smok...

Thanks........I had forgotten about the power issue with the Fuchai. Not that I ever have or would vape that high anyway.

Pico Mega+Triton - Archon+TFV4 - iJust S.
The Triton and iJust S suit my MTL-style better, but I do tend to use the newly acquired TFV4 more´n more in a DI-stylish way due the very nice flavors I get from the Q4 coil which lookes more like a vertical single coil to me? Didn't like the Tripple coil to much flavor-wise, very dense vapor though.

How do you like that Archon? I got my eyes on that for the stash after the new year possibly.

pros:
Light-weight, stylish, quite compact being a 2x18650 casing, ergonomic grip, super-easy configuring.

cons:
the magnetic-hold slide-over battery cover isn't snug-fit and the way the magnets is holding the cover isn't optimal, but after using it for a while getting convinced it wont fall off in the pocket, it ain't a problem.

Summary:
Would have no problem recommending it if the design meets your eyes which is did with mine :)

Not the OP, but I like my Archon a lot. VERY light, and very easy to use, but with list of depth if you want it. After the debacle that was the Pegasus/Odyssey, I swore off of Aspire, but they appear to be back, and worthwhile.

yes, i liked the features of the nx75 (from the reviews I watched, don't own one) sans the only 1 battery limitation so this intrigued me.
