I tried to get a picture of the setup some dude was using at the local B&M but I failed. :/

He had a g-class that he barely knew to operate with a herakles tank on it, had no clue what temperature control was and refused to listen when I tried to offer a little insight. It looked funny with a 22mm tank on it lol.
I love it when the special kind of stupid comes into the shop with the look what I got gear...

All these pretty mods. Do you guys even use them, or just take pictures of them?

I don't have the kind of lifestyle that allows me to treat mods like little babies. All my mods look beaten up. Paint scratched and chipping off, dents and scratches in the metal, and even the leather on my Triade looks extremely worn.

I've got one mod in pristine condition, an Hcigar VT133 that's still in the box. I have two, one I use which has probably 80% of the paint scratched off the battery door and the other is an unopened backup. I keep telling myself that I'm going to respray the battery door on the one I use with red plastidip, but I'm always too busy to get around to it. I've also got two RX200s sitting on a shelf behind me in pieces. I disassembled them so I could put new 510 connectors on them, but never got around to installing the new connectors. I prefer the consistency of the DNA chips and I just can't be bothered to go back to the RX200, despite the fact that both mods are unused and have only been disassembled for 510 replacement.

I wish I could afford a DNA. Every time I get enough I have some stood bill come in and I wind up with a lower class chipset.

DNA's don't cost that much. You can get a Triade DNA250 for around $125 if you look around. If you don't need that kind of power you can get the DNA200 powered Hcigar VT133 for $99.

I really like the VT133. If you're doing TC then odds are you aren't getting anywhere close to the 133 watt maximum, and the DNA200 chipset with the latest firmware is an excellent TC mod. The VT133 and Triade are about all I use these days.

What mod is that? Looks like a proprietary board.

It's an as-of-now unnamed and unreleased mod from Hcigar.

No idea what chip it uses, but it's clearly a new one. May be proprietary, but Hcigar has never used a proprietary chip before.
