Oh my bad from the side it kind of looked like it had the new big color screen. In fact it looks perfect for it like it has a pretty big face already, I'd be surprised if whoever made it doesn't do it.

Btw the vt75 should fit up to a 24 btw, almost a 25 I think... idk I don't have mine anymore I kept bending c frames and having to pay 11 bucks to replace bc there's no screw on the back.

Ohhhh!!!! You meant the COLOR screen. Yes, no. If that made sense.

And yeah, I think you're right about the VT, now that I actually think about it.

What the heck were you doing with yours, bending frames and what not? Handball-vape? :D I throw mine around with almost reckless abandon, and they've been tougher than nails (NOT counting the finish that WILL scratch if uncovered). Ask me, I know.

They just bent, over time. It's only made of zinc alloy which is soft as butter and it didn't have a screw on the back to keep it down so every time I threaded in the battery door (and I wasn't doing it hard just enough to make contact, especially once I realized what was happening) it would bend a little. And since the vt75 doesn't have a normal negative for the 510, that peice bending up would make my TC go all wonky and it kept dropping me out into wattage. So I replaced it one last time and sold it.

No kidding? That SUX!!!

I've been pushing mine for 10 months now, pretty much daily & heavy, with no signs of any problems. I don't use TC, so maybe that's it?

Idunno...

We best get back to pics (it's a pic thread). PICS!!! I'll go with Provis & Kayfuns (for the heckuvit).

Would it be sa'weeeet with the new color screen. Yum.

kiba, bummer about your C frames! I've got 2 Nanos and haven't noticed even the slightest bending.

I see thats what did it because of the missing screw, i sue mine daily but it has all the screws and no problem with it.
Took it apart to see what it looks like inside like i do my llionel trains ..
Glad to see the board is easily replaced if one know how to solder .

It actually had all the screws, I was just saying that I think it could benefit from an extra screw at the back, since this happened to both mine and my gf's.

I was trying to figure out how that's done, and I'm guessing from over-tightening the battery cap? First I thought, "Dropping in batteries", but that didn't make sense. Over-tightening does though, and it's a shortcoming of the mod that it allows for it.

I might of been over tightening it at first, but after the second or third time I had to buy a new c-frame I was barely threading it down, like just enough to make contact and the battery would rattle if I shook it. It's just zinc alloy is a really, really soft metal... check between the main body and the c frame top and bottom, I couldn't manage to prevent it happening even being really careful, only way would be to charge it usb-only i think.

That is SO weird because I change batteries every day (too impatient to USB, and I have a truckload of brownies). I guess consistency isn't a strong point for our friends from the Far East, eh?

Three of 'em too. All get changed daily. Go figure.

Weird, Idk then maybe they replaced it with aluminum or something stronger. but then again I kept buying replacement parts so...

Now I use one of these on the far right as a beater instead.

I'd be surprised - more likely simply inconsistency. I'm actually surprised they've turned out to be as tough as they've been (so far). Pleasantly, of course.

JAC for the win (BIG time too). For about the same money, even. Love them both, but there's no comparison.

It IS odd, kiba. As said, ours are ALL fine. I wonder if in fact they DID change the metal at some point?

I'm sorry that happened to you tho. Bummer.

I agree. The Jac SO surpasses the Nano, but not in EVERY respect. The Nano has that je ne sais crois adorbs design about it.

I hope they ALL last forever and ever.

(Think I'll go lock them in a cage, and...)
