Looking through my pics from when I used to help people modify their mech mods, found a few blast from the past, I wonder if anybody still recognize these?

Love the GG line, beautiful pieces. Looks like ones Kicked? I remember when the Kick came out and thought it was going to be the next big thing

Yeah that was somebody's sidewinder, it had a little port for the kick inside, kind of a cool design but it was just executed really bad, I fixed a few for a couple of people... zen actually anodized the threads lol [emoji23] I think there was also a really long spring involved for when you weren't using the kick? and ofc that awful switch. there's a pic of one I stripped, polished, replaced all the contacts etc. on there^

You can see in the top pic that's after stripping the paint off the threads.

@Spectrum156 I guess that is an original NXS Nano? I am thinking it must be with the ultem tank?

Yes.. Its a kit.. Comes with a single coil deck, a clear poly tank, and an ultem one. I see they're selling the NXS now with the nano kit included. IMO, this is how the NXS should have been initially released.. I'm not a fan of the dual coil deck.

Did you remove the finish on the Wraith? If so how? I like the look of it!
Its a shiny gun metal underneath, a lot of mine came off by itself. The rest I removed with the edge an old prepaid gift card, they make perfect scrapers. :thumb:

I left the carbon fiber sticker on and the bottom door stock. The plating is shiny but I don't think it could be polished up to a mirror finish. I didn't bother putting a clear coat on it either, just not worth the effort for me. ;)

Remove the two bottom screws and the innards come sliding right out except for the fire button. Makes it much easier to clean around the edges of the cutouts.

Let us know how you make out if you strip it.
