I'm a big fan of key lime pie for breakfast.

Edit: It has been a while since I last posted a handcheck; however, it appears that there are issues with displaying this one.. even though it's simply a link to imgur..

Here is the direct link if you're interested: http://i.imgur.com/wq7Rkw8.jpg

Looks to be the v2... How do you like the screen? I love my v1 with the LED indicators around the Skull, but wished they had engraved everything instead of paint. But it has held up well without fading a bit.

Have you ever had a misfire?

It arrived recently in the mail and so I've only had it for 4 days; however, I have been using it every night since, and going by that limited experience:

I'm liking the device a lot. It's been performing flawlessly thus far. It's uncomplicated and delivers the power well and without delay.

And no, I have not experienced any missfires. Is it something that could develop eventually?

I don't think it will be an issue for you. I have tried researching the issue, but never found info. on this specifically. It has only happened three or four times total (I've had it for almost a year) and the last time was a few months ago. Each time was a little different. The first time, it literally started firing on its own and burnt the wick in my rda. But it cut off after 10 seconds or so. Only problem after was a burnt wick. The next few times, while I was vaping, it seemed to fire at the full 130 watts (I was vaping around 65 watts) and the leds that were green (full battery indication) turned red. I quickly turned the mod off and, of course, had to rewick. Hasn't done it since. Not trying to scare you, but certainly pay attention to it. I do not leave batts in, ever.

Edit, I guess I need to mention too that the bottom contact on the slide out battery cover had popped out and was rattling around the box when I first opened it. I placed it back in, making sure the backing was still tacky. I don't know if those are directional so may be the cause...

That's troubling news. Thank you for sharing it. Was the mod switched off during any of the aforementioned auto-fire incidents? And did you notice the fire button being unusual, i.e. was the throw of the button unusual, and sticky?

Recently posted this tank, but I just finished a new build in it and have a matching mod to show. Likely going to be my last build on old faithful before I get vapemail next week.

Sigelei 150W
Cthulu V2 (2x 8 wraps on 24G NI80)
Subtank Mini stock stainless drip trip stacked on Cthulu V2 stock Delrin - gets too hot otherwise
