Let's see who's in the Nauti Corner today...
Nauti Corner Knucklehead.JPG

Why, it's a GEAR on a Duster mod by Knucklehead vapes. I basically bought the mod because the logo is just too cool. Turns out to be a real hard hitter--110mV voltage drop. You can get them from Ralfy's Emporium (and only there, since it's their brand):
Knucklehead Vapes The Duster Mod
They have them in copper, black copper and stainless, too. I went for the aluminum because it's laser engraved and the logo really stands out.

Comp Level, Baby!
Comp Rig Ameravape.JPG

I think I'm really on track here with my current competition setup. The Apocalypse 20mm comp deck with the Trinity Glass comp cap is a serious fog machine, sporting two SS316L .8ohm coils. That's .4 ohms, folks! Rockin' out at over 40 watts! It's sitting on an Ameravape Manhattan, with its silly low voltage drop. The Ameravape Manhattan is also a Competition Mod--it says so right on the box.

I can raise the humidity in the kitchen by 10% with just a single cloud. Really. Well, anyway, I can blow big enough clouds to annoy my non-vaper wife.

My wife uses a pod setup and she still comments about the clouds always hovering around ha ha. Now in all seriousness what makes something comp worthy? Is there a standard? I’ve only been vaping for close to 2yrs so I dunno much about cloud comps, etc.

I really don't know, but obviously it needs to be something that produces a lot of vapor. If it's a mod, it should have a really low voltage drop. Although my big edge is from my juice recipe (see my sig).

Really, it's funny. I can blow some huge, dense, clouds from coil head tanks that rival or surpass RDA's that are built to similar resistance. If there were still cloud comps in this country (I'm sure there must be a few, but I never hear anything), I'd go down (and get disqualified, no doubt) with my copper Vindicator 21 and a Joyetech ProCore SE with a .2ohm coil head. My avatar shot cloud was done with a ProCore AirPlus, with a .4ohm coil head on an SS Vader clone. It was there, and I didn't want too make too much fog.
