I DO NOT KNEEL. NEVER...TO NO MAN! HA HA,
seriously Cloud, will write to you tomorrow, have not really been on the forum much but know you are going through a very difficult time.

I speak from experience, nursed dad who died horribly from cancer, at home, 18months later my mum (dementia) passed.I nursed her too.
They both died at 86yrs old.
Horrendous times but I would do it again, they were both the best parents a kid could have.

It had it's moments but boy, they deserved to be cared for in their own home, by me, they were the greatest people.Having said that I would understand adult children who do put hem into care and would not judge them for that. We are all different but it just seemed normal for me to do it. OK mate, having last cup of tea in bed, will talk more to you later, good to see you.Boudica.

Ouch...so sad to read about what you had to go thru.

shows true character the way you handled that situation with your parents.

Hope you and your loved ones are all healthy and staying safe, talk to you soon :)

I have joined the taking care of parents club. My 85 year old mom and dad have been with us for three weeks now. It's a challenge, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Slipping into the new daily routine pretty nicely now.

You two are an inspiration to me. I'd like to hug you both. Thank you!

    Meh...sucky day.

Was supposed to have a date tonight.

Pops feeling under the weather,he told me to go on the date, said he was ok but i know when is he not feeling good...sooo i cancelled the date.

I said screw it,walked to the 24 hour shop owned by Russians that is 2 minutes from my home and bought a cheapo bottle of ''caramel'' vodka.
Paid 4.35 euros for the bottle (can't afford to get a bottle of Bunnahabhain or that would have been my first choice he he)
Considering i paid less than 5 euros for a bottle of vodka I'm guessing the hangover tomorrow will be monumental.:banana::banana::banana:

Would have invited her over, cook one of my specialties to impress her with my cooking skills but not really appropriate for the second date so alas I'm staying in tonight.

So this right here is my dinner:

    no date.jpg

Asmodus Colossal (thanks again @chanelvaps ),Hellvape Destiny RTA,Coke Cola/Lime e-juice and a bottle of Caramel Vodka lol.
Last time i had a drink was when i posted this:

    wasp 2.JPG

I right clicked and then properties and the pic was taken on the 08th ‎May ‎2020,so yeah that was the last time i had a drink...but today i really need it.

And yes...I'm playing Air Supply singing ''Making love out of nothing at all'' on youtube...dont judge me :oops:

Hey, that's just what er do for our loved ones eh, boy it sure had it's moments tho and MANY a time I just wanted to scream. And did, into a screwd up towel in my bathroom, LOL come out smiling and ask mum would she like a cuppa. Some days were so bad, couldn't leave mum alone for a second, like a toddler, only ONCE when she had nodded off I went up the local BP for a Kofe, got back and she had got outside and fallen in the pool. Ohhhh boy I felt like an absolute crumb of a person. She was OK but cold and shook up. Me too. Anyway such is life eh, we just do our best and carry on. Iv'e had worse happen to me and you know the old saying...What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, so true.

Watch the drink mate, doesn't really improve any situation, usually creates more problems, not for everybody of course but it's not for me.

Anyway, take extra care, hope your popps gets the catheter sorted ASAP, Kia Kaha, (stay strong)

Oh that's great Rob, It can be a real ordeal when parents age but you can't see them. I hope they are both in good health, also it's great for grandchildren of any age to have that contact with them. My own kids spent a lot of time with my mum and dad and it had a HUGE, POSITIVE effect on them, so all good.
